Another garnet

OK. So I missed out on that gorgeous grossular asscher- lucky,lucky FF!!, but my love for all things garnet made me move fast on this one. If it looks as nice in person I will have a pendant made. Maybe something antiquey but not too flashy so the color can really be showcased. Opinions please.

Thank you, ladies! It is 1.99ct and 6.87 x 7.75 mm. It is described as generally eye clean, so it''s not perfect. I''ll judge that when I see it in person. I''m enamoured with the color!

Do you think it is too small for a pendant? I already have a ring with a similar spess and thought a pendant might be a nice complimentary piece. Thanks in advance for any comments/help.

It's so nice to have so many expert opinions.

Chrono- yes, it is a Dan Stair. I think he creates amazing stones and at very reasonable prices. He has a nice blue sapphire and gorgeous umbalite garnet that went really quickly as well. I am vowing, however, to get my hands on a Jeff White Stone.

Innerkitten- what are you working on? Have you posted about it lately?

I will certainly post pics as soon as it's done. I'm open to any suggestions. I know that I want something different, just not sure what.
