Another Honeymoon Thread - But SO Excited!!

After a LONG morning of being on hold, speaking to supervisors, etc.... we finally were able to cancel our Sandals reservation and book our new hotels!

We decided to stay at the Atlantis in the Bahamas for 2 nights. We are staying at the Cove Atlantis in a Deluxe Ocean Suite. We will have a full oceanview from the King bed. That way we will be able to check out the nightlife, the more touristy place.

From there, we fly to Great Exuma (another Bahamas island) and stay at the Grand Isle Villas for 3 nights. This is a much quieter, more exotic location and resort.

Looks gorgeous!!! I''m so glad you were able to work that out and cancel the other place. I bet you are so excited and happy about the new, beautiful atlantis hotel!!

I am VERY excited! I knew that I didn''t want to stay at the Atlantis for our entire trip because it''s a family resort and gets very crowded. It''s not as secluded as the Grand Isle Villas, but this way, we experience both!

The Cove part of Atlantis where we''re staying is so nice!

That sounds amazing--like a perfect combination of excitement and relaxation. The Atlantis is a place I would very much like to visit. Be sure to let us know how you like it. And Great Exuma is supposed to be just lovely. I know you mentioned being a night lif go out and meet people kind of girl, but I think you will like the 3 days of less touristy life on Great Exuma. After the wedding and 2 night at a place like the Atlantis, you will probably enjoy a few days of relaxation.

Both rooms look MUCH nicer than the real pic from the Sandals resort, and I think splitting the time to experience the best of both worlds is a great idea!

Exactly! I found just what I was looking for. I did not want to take the chance on getting to Sandals and feeling like I was at a 3 star Mexico resort. We love cheap Mexico vacations, but this is our honeymoon!
