I love the look of 25 point antique/old mine cushion cut stones and I love a French pavé. But usually the only time I see French pavé is with round stones. I am looking to pop 7 .25ct stones into this setting but I’m concerned it will mess with that sweet ice-cube little nugget shape that I love about the square-ish cushion cut. Will it translate? Have you seen examples of this? Pictures show the setting I want but with round stones
