If anyone is interested in Victorian mourning jewelry - here’s a lovely double strand garnet and pearl necklace with braided hair in the clasp! There are three chipped garnet beads and one missing. Clasp was tested as 8-9k gold

I received an offer for this on eBay but it looks like it’s from a seller, and that shouldn’t matter, but I suppose because it’s been with me for so long I just would love for this pretty piece of history to go directly to someone who will appreciate and enjoy it rather than flip it right away… if anyone interested sees this soon - today - make me an offer!
