Well honestly, if I had time, I''d start reading and get stuck into all the new stories ... it''s been almost four years since I was in your shoes {I started with the LIW in 2004} but I haven''t forgotten the tension, excitement and exasperation !

I''m kind of doing my yearly check-in to see if any of the old crew are around {I hope no-one is STILL waiting !!}.

Anyone ever hear from Blueroses ?

All is grand here, just celebrated our third wedding anniversary {on April 30th}, our little man is 17 months old today and I''m 25 weeks pregnant with baby two !!!

Guess it really was love !! ha !

Good luck to you all, I''ll be back to see if any other ''oldies'' are about ...

I recognise some of those usernames. Starset has a thread in LIW that's active right now. nytemist is married and her wedding thread is up in BIW. icekid is still a regular poster. I think Blueroses never did come back and post anything more after her engagement thread.

Yes, I''m Irish, I''m from Kerry, from Clahane, it''s outside Tralee town ... but I fell in love with a Yank so now I live in Plymouth, MA.

I had to look up where Clahane is! I would know the other side of Tralee better than that side. I have heard of Tonavane before though, looks like that''s close by!

As for me, I''m waiting but not exasperated, in fact I''m rather enjoying the whole thing! I have a thread here in LIW, title is ''The Race is On...''

Aidan is a lovely name. Do you know if #2 is another boy or is it a surprise? Have you seen the Pregnancy thread over in Family Home & Health?

oh, thanks re: Aidan''s name, we wanted an Irish one but one that wouldn''t be difficult in the U.S. {last name is Italian} ... we were surprised with Aidan and are going that route again this time.

I'm not from that neck of the woods at all, would prefer not to say exactly where I'm from. Closer to Dublin. I know some people from the Listowel side of Tralee, and some from Listowel itself. Nice people down there!

And I like surprises myself
