Hey all, fi and I have been discussing honeymoon plans and we are thinking of going to mazatlan. His grandma has a timeshare in a luxury resort there that she would let us use. All of the pictures looked beautiful and it would be a fairly inexpensive trip. By the way, we will be going at the beginning of september 07'', so I''m guessing very few families or spring breakers will be there since school starts at the beginning of september.
Fi and I normally like adventurous vacations, but we are both thinking that for a honeymoon...we want to sit around the pool and drink, and maybe venture into town for a good dinner or to go dancing or to a bar in the evening. He did say that there were activities and things that are affiliated with the resort. He has been there and loved it a few years ago, but I have not been there. By the way, both of us know *some* spanish. I got by all right when I went to Spain, and I would say that he knows enough to get by as well.
If you have been there, how was your experience, what did you do, any tips...? Thanks for your advice.
