God, I don''t know why I am doing this to myself or even thinking that my dress isn''t perfect but sometimes I get a little demon in my head telling me to keep looking. Also, I feel like I am spending so much on my dress that I had better really really be sure. I don''t know. Is this just bridal insanity?

Oh, and I am questioning my color palette, too.

Pretty much the only thing I am absolutely sure about is the man.

I have doubts that I''m not going to find the perfect dress. Everyone says you should know immediately that the dress is the "one." But everyone I''ve tried on, I''ve either liked or not liked. There is one I really, really like but it didn''t sing to me or anything. I think its all bridal insanity, which I seem to suffer from a lot.

Well the man IS the most important part!

Your dress is beautiful Skylah... and I think just about everyone has some dress/wedding design related doubts. I''m happy with my dress, and mostly happy that I don''t have to try on any more dresses! I think you should just focus on the good things about your dress and not look (or look but not really look look) at other dresses you''ll feel better!

XChick03 - You know what? iwouldn''t worry about it! I think you''ll look some more and find a dress you love. That whole "it''s a spiritual event" idea is true for some people, but most of the women I know just said, "I love this, I want to get married in it." (No lightning bolts or anything)

LizzieC - Thanks, hon! I know you''re right. Just stop looking and focus on life like I used to before I was engaged! Oh wait, then I was focussing on getting engaged. Oh well...

One of my best friends told me that the dress I go home and can''t stop thinking about is the one for me. She said she didn''t think she''d found a dress until she went home and had a dream about it that night.

Don''t worry, I''m sure your dress is gorgeous (haven''t had to time to check it but it''s a good designer, if I remember correctly??).

I went through the same thing. In the end, I walked away from my final fitting 2 weeks ago feeling positively GIDDY about my dress. I think we all go through this.

I think by the time it gets close to the wedding date you''ll be so stressed about other stuff that you''ll be so happy you got the dress. I''m sure you will be pleased with it, if not positively giddy!

OMG, LOVE your dress!!!! Don''t worry! It''s gorgeous!!

How was Panache Bridal? I live in RB and I have a friend who just got engaged and is having a hard time finding a dress she likes. Would you recommend Panache? She doesn''t want to spend more than $2K.

Well, maybe I''m not the best person to reply to this question right now, but I don''t think I''ll have second doubts about my dress.....which I just found TODAY!!!! Yay!!! I love it! It is exactly what I have dreamed of and more. I mean, If I could design the dress of my dreams, this would be it! It is a champagne-colored, antique-design dress. I forgot my digital camera today, so I am going back on Monday to take pics so that I can show my family and post it on PS. I am getting fitted for it on May 6th when my mom comes for my college graduation. I am so excited....can you tell? LOL.

I guess I got a little side-tracked, but anywho, I do not have dress doubts...not even a smidgen. Then again, it has only been 9 hours! LOL!

I worked with Jackie and had a great experience with her. I actually wasn''t planning on trying on gowns; I was just there to look at bridesmaids'' dresses but I saw an amazing dress in the window and asked to try it on. She was busy (not with a client) and she said "Sure, go find a few others so you don''t get in the dressing room for just one dress." I randomly grabbed two more and waited for her to get the first gown off the mannequin. Long story short: First dress: DISASTER, 2nd totally random pick: PERFECT.

I ordered my engagement party dress from them, too, and they were great with it. Still don''t have the wedding gown so I can''t comment on anything after you try on gowns but the service I received in trying on was great. I think their BM gowns are overpriced, especially if you go through www.houseofbrides.com or www.bridesave.com .

They did have many great gowns way below 2K, quite a few in that range, and some above. The designers they carry are Stephen Yearick, Marianne Lanting, Watters, Amy Kutschell, Maggie, and quite a few others I can''t recall right now. They carry some pretty amazing designers and had some unique dresses, ones I had never seen in any other salon so for he bride that wants something special, it''s a nice spot.
