I just bought a lovely ring. The hallmark includes a makers mark, it’s apparently a US designer but being Aussie I have no idea whose it might be.
Anyone able to identify it?
many thanks.CF2C4FF8-45C8-4562-BDFF-CCE071D02DF0.jpeg

Omg! I just made a post about this exact marking! What are the chances? I have no idea what it is, sadly. :( Good luck!

here’s mine for comparisons sake:8AB09531-FA01-4431-BC85-7FBE8B08652F.jpeg

Well, an update! I was cleaning a silver and light color tanzanite ring for my sister, and I happened to look all the hallmarks and saw the makers mark again! But this time it suggests it was made in China. My piece doesn’t have that marking.

So now I’m even more confused.

our rings may well be China made. Many Jewellers in the US, UK and here in Australia have their ring mounts made in China, Thailand or India as the manufacturing costs are lower. With the silver pieces you do often see the China or Thailand mark as well, on the gold pieces, not so much.
im still waiting delivery on my ring. It was only $200, I bought it for the setting to use with another loose gem I have.

@Bron357 So I uploaded the mark into the eBay forum and someone figured it out! The designer is apparently Michelle Albala. :)

That’s great news! Did you end up having a new stone set in it, or it already had a sapphire in it?
