I've been wearing my wedding shoes occasionally to break them in before the big day, but today I wore them to work and I realized that they just aren't going to work. They're broken in now and are still giving me pain. I think I'm back to the drawing board.

Would you like to help me?

I'm looking for a closed-toe shoe with a ~2-3ish inch heel. My dress has gold on it, so the shoes I originally bought were gold, but it'd be fun to have colored shoes, too!

I really like t-straps, but anything comfortable will do. I think just having a closed toe will make the big difference.

Thanks!!

ETA: I also love this pair, if this helps, but I really should just go with a closed toe.

Sorry, THIS pair!

I haven''t been able to top BIH, I will keep looking though

Thanks for the help ladies! Anything with a non-pointy toe? I''m having problems finding shoes too, and Zappos is acting funny...

Because I love blue shoes: Blue Suede

These are more of a turquoise color, but peep toes: BCBG teal laser cutouts

Here's a teal wedge, I think I saw that your BM dresses were teal: Report teal wedge, peep toe, kind of

No t-straps so far...

Another wedge, blue/teal kind of color with flower detail: Report wedge, with ankle strap

YAY! T-strap! And closed toe! And gold!: Oh Deer! hot metallic heels, that seems to have a red heel...

Gold peep toe wedges: Guess hotness

I keep hoping that someone will buy these shoes. Copper and silver: BCBG with ankle strap

These are also peep toes in yellow or pink: BCBGirls peep toes

Ok, so these aren't really wedding-y but...:Anne Klein peep toe wedge

Going back to teal: Steve Madden teal peep toe

So I'm having serious problems finding closed toe shoes right now and I'm sure it's because all of the spring/summer styles are coming out, but I guess I'll just throw stuff out here anyway...

Bronze-y peep toes, probably don't work, but they're cute: Steve Madden strappy

Round toed shoes in practically every color: Steve Madden...3 inch heels

Ok so these are totally not what you're looking for, but I like them

: Carlos Santana blue with sequins and strappy

I think I'm giving up for the moment...Hope you saw something you liked even if not for the wedding!

ETA: I really love the shoes you posted a pic of above. I tried to find something that had a bit of bling in it, but was unsuccessful thus far..I have to tell you, I'm still looking though

Ok...

Silver and gold t-strap: justsweet peep toe

These kind of reminded me of your other shoes (the gray jeweled peep toes--which I love BTW) Gray, ankle strap, bejeweled

I think I''m shoed out for the evening, everything is starting to look the same.

I am planning to wear ballroom dancing shoes for my wedding: super-comfy, and you can get them in many different colors and heel heights. I wouldn''t suggest you wear them outdoors much prior to your wedding...the soles are very soft so are much better for indoor wear!

Gosh brazen irish and frekechild, those are some great suggestions! I feel like I''m always looking for something specific against the current trend. I saw a closed toe t-strap I loved in my Lucky magazine this month, but I can''t find it online. If you ladies find Report Shoes "Claudia", let me know. Why would they put it in a mag if it''s not available?

I think I''m going to head out and actually try some more peep toes on. Maybe it''s the degree of "peep" that''s killing my toes? I dunno. Hopefully I can also track down some of these and try them on. That teal-colored "semi-peep" wedge is looking tempting. That should be easy to find in a store here.

Thanks again!!

What do you ladies think about this shoe? Is it crazy?

Here''s my dress BTW: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/the-casablanca-worries.70656/
I LOVE those shoes. I figured they were a little too far out so I didn''t add them to the list but I thought about getting them for myself.
I love that sort of vintage, off beat style. you might want to look at these too:

Anthropologie has such fun shoes, but I am the only person I know who likes them.

Ooh I like those anthropologie ones, too! It seems we have a similar style! Feeling better now that I have some good options in mind. Maybe I''ll wait until I can see my dress in person, since it''s already a little busy, to decide if the zappos shoes will work. (dress is supposed to be in next week!!)

I would definitely try out some more peep toes if you find something you like. I think it''s a matter of finding something that hits your toes just right. Luckily peep toes seem to do well for me, which is convenient because they are my favorite style of shoe. I have to tell you that I went to bed and couldn''t stop thinking about shoes for about an hour. Lol. I was about ready to take a sedative...

I love looking for shoes for all of you brides, but it sucks too because I always find about 10 pairs that I want for myself in the process...Which my bank account does not allow for. And while everyone seems to be a 2-5 dress bride I''m so going to be a 20 SHOE bride. The dress is NOT going to be a problem.

I hope you find something you love, and thats totally comfy. Make sure to let us know what you end up with!! (And if I see anything else, I''ll definitely post it!)
