Anyone use ebates?

Seems like a good deal... almost too good to be true.

Should I use them? I''m buying some sheets online and can get 5% back.

I''ve used them - pretty good. You just have to remember to go through their site to buy stuff. And, they don''t send you a check until you have I think ~$25 in your account. But, I have gotten a check so they are legit.

I have also used them and gotten 2 checks. They are legit though I NEVER remember to go through their site. And one of the 2 times, I forgot to deposit the check, hahaha . . .

Have you heard of http://www.igive.com? They work much the same way, but you can choose to have the rebate go to a charity OR to you. I work for a non-profit that is signed up for it and we''ve raised a bit of cash that way... it''s not a lot, but every little bit helps.

I don''t mean to hijack, but it''s just another option!

Okay. So I''m going to go through them or through sumbride''s site from now on!

Sumbride that''s a great tip, I''ll check it out! My company matches most charitable contributions 100% so I''ve been really excited about donating! And for now, I think the Milo Foundation is the place here in the bay area where I''ll be doing it.
