I''m looking for a second pair of shoes to go with my ivory dress in case my shoes start to hurt my feet during the reception. They have to be about 3.5 inch heels. I was originally thinking of platform flipflops, but I''m having trouble finding them in colors that would go with my dress since white and silver don''t look right. Then I remembered I have a pair of espedrills from Walmart of all places that have a nice heel and are THE MOST COMFY shoes ever. But they are brown.

So...I''m on the hunt for a pair of wedges that are a natural, beige, blue, or red color. Here''s the catch...since these are my second pair, my budget is limited to $50. Again, they have to be about 3.5 inches, and I really want an ankle strap (either tie or regular clasp). I also would prefer they not be that fake corkboard type bottom. I''ve looked through ALL the wedges on Zappos, and even though there are some adorable shoes, they are all out of budget...so anyone want to help me find a bargain?

Just for reference, I would love shoes like these from Zappos if they were in my pricerange.

Sabine, what size?
these are certainly in your price point, just had to show you...ever see that movie where someone was wearing platform shoes with goldfish in them? "I'm gonna get you sucka!" I believe it was...sorta that theme goin' on. Just looking for a non cardboardy wedge. this can be done.

Do you want closed toe shoes?

Wow, you guys are awesome!!! I haven''t had a chance to look through all of them yet, but some of the pairs from victoria''s secret and that last pair that BIH posted look really promising! Time to start ordering!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I decided to go with the sandals from victoria''s secret since I was shopping their clearance and needed to add something to get the $100 free shipping bonus! Unfortunately, they were out of the natural, and that was my first choice, but I decided since they don''t look like wedding shoes anyway to get them in AQUA!!! Now hopefully they will fit and be comfortable, especially since victoria''s secret doesn''t have free return shipping!

Hi Sabine,

I don''t know if I''m too late to help, but my friend and I hit many, many stores yesterday, and ROSS, TJMaxx, Marshall''s, Sear''s and JCPenney all had fantastic wedge shoes, many well under $50.

Just a thought if you didn''t feel like ordering, returning, re-ordering, etc...

I see you ordered some from Victoria''s Secret, but I''ve never had any luck with their shoes fitting in my size, and I hate that they don''t have free return shipping. I hope they work out for you!

Those are too cute! Good choice in the aqua!

Thanks Harleigh and Legacy Girl! I took Harleigh''s advice and went out to the store yesterday, and got these from New York and Company for $25! They are lighter in person, and I will definitely wear these after the wedding, and they are SOOO comfy!

I think those wedges would be perfect to take along on your honeymoon!
