I''m sleepy...else I would search properly!

A couple of days ago, I read about someone ''wishing'' on an apricot stone - or peach, and wanting the ''matching gold?

Lo and behold...I was sifting through some bookmarked pages, and came across this site I have looked at way back I guess. There are some stunning pieces, and oh my - a whole fruit-bowl of gold colour choices!

Enjoy!

Yummy colours!

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....me want!

How pretty!

Wow! Amazing - that''s so cool! I have in my head apricot being lighter than peach but I have no need to name the colors - just show me a rainbow of gold and let me loose!!!!!!

you know - it would be nice if they had a visible range in the rose gold too - because a lot of times when I see a pink stone in rose gold I think ugh - they clash! If only the tones were closer... and I think having a range of rose gold would be a boon to pink stones everywhere!! Can you imagine a white white barely barely pink band? how lovely would THAT be??

My original wedding ring was actually my great grandmothers and it is a different color than all of my regular gold - different alloy, no clue what is in it. But the color is just slightly more rose than yellow gold but not even close to what you see when you see rose gold. When I get back to the states I''ll have to take a comparison pic of my ring with dh''s to illustrate the difference. I really love the color of my wedding band and wish it were more available. I had to get it sized up and the band of yellow gold isn''t the same color but I kinda liked that as you don''t mistake the original. My mom had it sized down from an 8 to a 6 and I had it sized up to a 7. I wish she''d kept the original bit of gold they removed...

wow, I''m obviously excited because I am RAMBLING on lol

hi Sara!

Excited? Rambling? Isn''t that perfectly normal?!!

I hear exactly what you saying about that ''old'' rose gold colour. I have a solitaire that is made from an old alloy, and the gold colour is gorgeous. It''s nothing like the rose gold of today, but put it next to a yellow gold band, and the difference is there. It''s like yellow gold, that''s been warmed up, wrapped in heat to give a red glow to it, but kept subdued, yet rich...you know it though already!

I want to take the stone out of that solitaire and find a guy to melt it down and remake it into a band...

I want to find a guy who makes every shade our minds can dream up!

Imagine - picking from a colour chart...no wait...better than that, imagine picking from a more extensive pile of goodies like the pile above! Imagine 20 little stacks of rings - all labelled, all gorgeous, grey gold to blond white gold, red to rose, yellow to vanilla, deepest copper to warm rich 24k...

Excited? Rambling?

I do it a lot!

I would LOVE a scattered diamond band in apricot gold..

I love the eye candy; the warm rich colours remind me of high karat gold.

omg wendy - that''s exactly what I''ve wanted for years! Twenty or thirty shades of gold... talk about a gold renaissance!
