hello darling ladies !
hello from a prodigal PS''er ! how is EVERYONE doing ?? I don''t see too many of the faces from the height of my ''residency'' on LIW ! I never actually posted anywhere else on PS. This was where I found a home, so for those of you who are new and haven''t a notion who I am; well HI!, hang in there because your day WILL come and it will be worth every minute of angst !!
it was this time last year that my Mom was over from home helping me with the embroidery on my dress and this time last year that I finally got my ring - just two weeks before the wedding !!!
I see Appletini and Matatora but no Blue or Nytemist ... or others ... at least not in recent threads that I''ve been browsing.
I was just hoping to catch up with some old pals - see how you all got on in the past twelve months !
and btw, we are moving this weekend, into our first house !!!
would love to hear from you girls. Maybe I should set up a ''graduates'' list somewhere else on the web so we can talk about the next steps - houses, babies etc. etc.
to all the newbies !! it''s SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it and you''ll forget all the frustration and aggravation and just remember that moment he asked you and how HAPPY you were.
will be back to check if anyone is still here and even remembers me ! {feeling like an old fogie!!}

I''m Jen, "new" here (#60 and moving up fast!)--been here since Jan, although I think my first post was in Feb. Anyway, I wanted to chime in on your "paper" anniversary. My ex did this for me and I thought it both incredibly sweet and original (literally)! He got me original artwork -- a painting of The Old Mill (from the beginning of Gone with the Wind -- we got married there) and had it framed. I loved it b/c of both the sentiment and uniqueness. I still have it b/c of its beauty and value. So that''s just a thought. Hey even an ex is good for *something* now and again!
