This is something I didn''t even think about. Are you going to carry a handbag on your wedding day? Obv not down the aisle, but will you have one at the reception? I think it could come in handy (for lipstick, etc), but it could also be a PITA to have to look after one more thing.

Thoughts?

I got a small clutch thing to put at the reception. It''ll hold lipstick, mints, maybe powder? I don''t know. If I lose it, it was $12 or something so it wouldn''t be a tragic loss.

Some i love! i thought about it, but the wedding and reception are taking place at my uncle''s house and everyone is using the house bathrooms. i will have all of my things there anyways...but i might carry one regardless because there are so many adorable ones.

i did. I had my GB attendant in charge of it until the reception. they were happy to help. The purse was at my table under my chair and they were great. Honestly, i did use it to touch up 1x. But I really needed the shout wipe that was in it. SAVED THE DAY! In the end I gave it to my and she took it home w/ the rest of the bridal gifts. It wasn''t that much of a big deal to be honest... and if I lost it... I didn''t really care.

I had a very little handbag, and it did come in handy for the reception. I had lipgloss, oil-blotting sheets, tic tacs and a few safety pins. I just kept it at my seat and had no problems with that.

my personal feeling is that wedding dresses aren''t supposed to look functional in any way and that handbags look a bit odd - sort of like those brides who wear a watch down the aisle (this is a totally personal opinion so please dont be offended if you are a handbag/watch kinda gal). so the night before the wedding i slipped two tissues, lipstick and lipstick sealer into the pocket of the groom''s suit. they were in a tiny velvet drawstring pouch. no handbag as such and the whole thing was kind of invisible.

I am. I''m not going traipsing around Vegas without my ID, debit card, etc.
