Asscher setting inspirations please!

I have 2 Asscher cut CSs to be set, one is just over 8mm and another just over 9mm.

The 8mm is a lab medium blue Sapphire from Gary, and the 9mm is a blue Zircon by Jeff W.

I would like to set them differently, and have some ideas of my own.

I would like to keep the cost down and am likely to use LGDs or even Moissys for the lab Sapphire.

Just running this past the settings gurus for inspirations.

Can you share photos of the stones? That will help. Perhaps bezel the lab sapphire? I think the blue zircon would probably look amazing in white gold with tapered baguettes (lab diamonds?) on the shoulders. Maybe double claw prong

You can share a lab sapphire. The rules are now lax for lab stones in this forum.

For asschers, if going with a halo, I think I prefer a halo of step cuts over rounds eg

Here are the current favourites I have in mind.

For the blue Zircon, an air gap/line halo of some sort, with a plain band 4mm at the top tapering to 3mm at the bottom, no millgrain:



For the lab Sapphire, for the main stone to set at 45deg, with 2 smaller Asscher cut lab diamonds also set at 45deg:




I prefer plain wide bands.
