Did your wishbowl idea ''come true''? Was it a success? Do you have tips or idea for someone considering something similar?

haha. everyone LOVED it!!!
people "got" it... which is what i was worried about.
i placed a short little rhyme saying what to do, had a large clear vase, several stacks of plain cards, and pens.

it was lots of fun reading all the advice and quotes and well wishes.
even the band members joined in on the fun - probably before anyone got there. it''s not like i saw them set off the stage to sign our cards

oh and i guess i should add, our crowd was an older one. no kids.

oh and indygal - i think what is also nice about the cards and vase is that more than one person can write at a time. no huge line for one guest book.
