August 6... we are all set

My date has changed... quite a bit from November 11, 2008 to August 6, 2007

We are going to Gatlinburg TN. We are getting married on the 6th in a private ceremony. Then spending the week in a condo, taking in some shows, shopping, etc.

The radio station we work for also gave us tickets to Dollywood and Splash Country!

Aw, that''s so cool Crash! My brother got married in of those little mountain top chapels in Gatlinburg...same type of deal, just him and my SIL and both sets of parents. They had a reception a month later so fortunately I got to be involved with that.

Hey again!!! Sorry it''s taken me so long to reply. It''s a REALLY busy time of year at work.

Anywho, as far as short notice planning, it''s going fine. We are just having a private ceremony with the two of us. So it''s just a matter of picking up the license, and getting married. All I had to do is coordinate our vacation, condo time, and the date and time with the pastor. We aren''t much on "planning". We are more of a go and figure it out later couple. lol We have some tickets to a few attractions and shows already, and we will just decide once we get there when to do what.

We decided early on that we would not have another ceremony and wedding. I would like to have a reception when we get back. I''m going to try to start planning for that soon. Something simple, maybe picnic style and do some games. Nothing formal at all.

But I''m REALLY excited!!!! I can''t wait!! He''s such an amazing person with a heart of gold!
