Love the ring! I just ordered a AVR Moissanite 8.5mm. And I'm so torn to maybe go with the 8mm :( how do you decide on the right stone size? And did you order the 8.6mm custom? :)

@Lessics Thank you! I did not special order the stone. It was in stock. I’d been eyeing it for a couple months I think. I have had 8mm, 8.5mm and 9mm and I found 8.5 is my sweet spot. I do not have small hands and even larger knuckles. o_O I think 8.5mm is just perfect! Can’t wait to see it. What color did you get?

@MakingTheGrade Ooooh, I can’t wait to see it! Love love love rose gold and almost did it with this one. I chickened out though. Good luck! Hope you love it!

Omg..I just emailed DK and told him I want to do something totally different from anything I have. I saw an antique ring and I love it. It has French cut diamonds on the side and it engraved everywhere. I want it in platinum. I usually do everything in 18k white gold but think because it’s engraved and inspired by an antique ring it’s the way to go!

I remember! You bought the OEC from Diamondrensu and decided you liked MRB stones better...It’s going to be lovely! What are you going to do with the OEC?
 
@Sandeek okay I think I will stick to rhe 8.5mm with my 6.5 hand :)) I'm located in Germany and nobody really wears big stones here but I love the look of a bigger stone. Maybe I follow to many US Instagram accounts

It’s gorgeous! I was really hoping it belonged to a PSer. :love: The engraving on the shank looks absolutely perfect!

Thank you so much. I agonized over the small detail of whether to add engraving to the profile. In the end, I decided to leave it. DK said he could add it later. He’s the best. Really! I’m so excited and am hoping the impending inclement weather doesn’t delay it! :pray:

@Lessics thank you. I can’t wait either :) . I really think you’ll love the size if you like a bolder look. The 8mm always seems a tad small with my huge knuckles and the 9mm was too big for my lifestyle. I’m like Goldilocks! Haha.
I can’t wait to see your stone. How will you set it?
 
I first wanted to have Maytal Hannah set it. But then I wouldn't be able to examine the stone before setting it in an about 2.5k setting. So I decided to go with a local fine jeweller who also handforge their rings. I first thought it would be crazy expensive, but I'm lucky enough and they quoted me around Maytal's quote. Just not sure if there Pavé is as exquisite as Maytal's
And I'm pretty much "copying" Rosie Huntington Whitleys engagement ring. It's an Edwardian Style ring :)

That is really, really lovely! Am I remembering correctly that the stone is an I-J? It looks very natural - not stark white but not warm either. How is the color in person? (I'm preparing to make an order, but can't decide what color to go with!)

@OboeGal Yes, it is an I/J. I love the color. I am not color sensitive though. It looks just right to me. Not too white, and no tint that I can discern.

@elle_71125 haha. I know right but seriously, I’ve had quite a few OECs and this is the best cut I’ve seen IRL. Thank you for your compliments. =)2
