I am getting so impatient waiting for my studs from AV (they're delayed in customs and the depot is only 45 minutes from my house! ARGH!) I just ordered a 5x5.5mm AVC moissy. For...you know... therapeutic purposes.
Waiting for packages to go through customs was horrible. They actually held my package with my cluster ring hostage until I paid the duty. At that point...I would have paid anything...not really..I am getting so impatient waiting for my studs from AV (they're delayed in customs and the depot is only 45 minutes from my house! ARGH!) @elle_71125 thank you, me too! It's so tempting to just jump in the car and go and get them...apart from the whole thing of it being nearly midnight here. Whatevs
LOL @Mamabean! The frustrating thing is that I don't have to pay any duty on this purchase as it's under $1000AUD...so I don't know what the hold up can be. I SHOULD receive them tomorrow. I hope you're enjoying your stunning new cluster ring!
Wow, these are so gorgeous and look great on you! They're blindingly white and absolutely stunning.
They're here! And OH MY they are GORGEOUS
The pics aren't great, but the fire these things give off is insane. I remember opening the box that contained my WF ACA studs years ago, and these look no different. They are truly spectacular, and are the perfect replacement for my studs which I have missed so much, as I could never fork out that kind of $$ on bling nowadays. The settings are perfect and super secure. I'm really really happy! Thank you so much @Rhino and Vicki!!
ETA - please ignore my horribly dry scrub nurse hands!
Thanks for clarifying for me,I forgot to ask you, was there a custom’s processing fee? Haha...just getting all my facts in orderThanks @Sparkles88! No, no duty or GST, as the total came in just under $1000AUD. Only purchases over $1k incur the extra costs, so I was careful when choosing the size to ensure that.
Oh my! They’re so beautiful on you!

Ooooh! Gorgeous!
Love this!!!
I’m going to have to update this tomorrow when there is more sun, but I just got my ideal round from August Vintage. At first I wasn’t sure how it compared with my Tianyu moissanite, but after taking some good close up shots, it is pretty apparent that the AV moissanite is cut just a little bit better:
I will say that my Tianyu moissanite is whiter than my AV, which I happened to order colorless. It doesn’t bother me too much as I like warmth, but just in case anyone wants stark, stark white, just an fyi.
Overall, I am pretty impressed! I will try to take more photos tomorrow when the sun is out.
That's what I'm trying to figure out. That, and how it compares with the new MoCo AGS 000Absolutely gorgeous!!! Do you find the cut to be superior enough to justify the price jump over Tianyu?
Forgive me if you covered this detail already, but are they both colorless?
Thank you! The cut is divine, isn’t it? As far as what I’ll do with it, I’m honestly not sure! I wanted to replace the stone in my pendant, but I don’t think I can...I’m debating on making it into a simple solitaire ring. I’ll use it as a right hand ring for now but after I’m married I might switch it over to my left hand as a travel ring, hehe.I think it looks great! Love the cut! What will you do with it?
Thank you so much! And yes, both are colorless! As for costs, to be honest, I find them very, very similar in quality. The AV is better definitely but the Tianyu one holds on its own just fine. From a distance, I don’t think anyone could tell the difference between the two, but I will update tomorrow to see if I see anymore differences. When I got home to get it, the sun was setting so I didn’t get a good look as to how it performs. The only things that stuck out to me were the Tianyu was whiter and the AV had a higher crown(?) and thicker arrows with a smaller culet. Will keep you all posted tomorrow and take better pics.Absolutely gorgeous!!! Do you find the cut to be superior enough to justify the price jump over Tianyu?
