Any fans of his out there? I love his books... They are very emotional but he interjects humor when needed to really make the read enjoyable....
I just started reading his latest book... and not to give anything away, but I am finding it to be almost unbearable... it is just SO sad. I thought it would be like all of his other books (Dry is my favorite) sad, disturbing, raw emotion, but with humor. This book is just SO emotional, almost too emotional to read. (I can only imagine how difficult it was for him to write) It constantly hits you in the heart with no release. I''ve only read the first 1/3 of it and already I''ve had to take a break because it was too emotional for me.
Is anyone reading his new book currently? It''s called the wolf at the table. If so, what are your thoughts on it? I really want to finish it... but I''m going to have to take a breather!
He is having a book reading on Monday that I am going to. Hopefully he wont be reading the chapter that made me break down!
haha
