I was hoping you would see my post. My son is in Austin and getting married, hopefully in June. He''s been engaged to my future DIL for 4 years, and been with her 8. I just got word they are finally going to pull the trigger so to speak (probably for him anyway, ha, ha!). This all probbly because his younger brother is getting engaged and plans to marry next Sept./Oct. I have a feeling my older son''s FI said "No way your brother is getting married before we do."
Anyway, future DIL is sans Mom because her Mom was killed in an auto crash when she was very young. So I am trying to help out.
She is just now researching venues and caterers, so we are starting from scratch. I saw your post and thought, here''s a gal who looks like she has been very thorough and can maybe give us the benefit of her research. And of course, there''s the budget thing......
So......whatever you can share would be great! I know we aren''t able to post email or phone numbers, but I''m in the Fort Worth phone book. Name is really unusual, so you should be able to find me, hubby is only one listed. Give me a quick call and I''ll call you back on my dime.
Otherwise, I would appreciate anything you can post as to what you have found. It will at least give my DIL a start.
