I wear my sterling/boho/hippy jewels piled on and layered up pretty much everyday. Yep, I put the bling on, admire it for a bit, and back in the box it goes. I'm really just a collector who happens to love gems. I set them because that's what really makes them shine. Wearing the pieces out doesn't give me the pleasure it gives others. In short, I'm an strange sort (who rhymes).

Probably not the pieces I usually layer. But I've definitely shared some of my Native American turquoise pieces before. I'll have to find the thread. Do you love sterling too? :)

Haha yes I do so I’d love to see yours. I have some really nice jewelry but what I wear most often is sterling!!!! So your post resonated with me.

There is a PSer that sets her own turquoise into silver, I forget who it is but man I’d love a ring like hers.
 
@Autumn in New England, looking through your posts was like walking through a Sotheby’s catalog. Your pieces are gorgeous. I’d have loved the sapphire but after acquiring quite a few new things this year and a new puppy and 2 trips planned in the first quarter of 2023, I’d just feel too guilty. So will have to live vicariously through the PS forum. Whoever get these pieces, please post action pics.

Hi Everyone... rackspace has an outage with exchange accounts (they host my email). It's been down all day, but they're aware of it and working to restore it. So if anyone has contacted me through LT in the past 12 hours or so, please hang in there until it's back up! Grazie!!

Are some of them custom settings or were they mostly stock settings? I like them all.
 
@Autumn in New England, it is a Rainbow Collection :love:Did you design the sumptuously set spinel (#2)? The tanzanite from RareGemstoneCio is their usual top quality! Can’t wait to see what your next fleet looks like (The Sultan of Brunei’s?)

I had to double check this... lol The red spinel was crafted in CA. The oval pink Mahenge and princess-cut pink spinel ring were made in NYC. That one is an unexpected beauty on the finger. The cut of the stone has a mirrored brilliance to it. I'll be sad to see that one go, especially! I just prefer larger stones these days, ya know?

P.S. I can give you both manufacturers' names once my email comes back online. Ugh! Rackspace is STILL down.

Agree with this! All of the colored stones are lovely (and fine) and each piece has so much general appeal that I wonder if it's best to reach out to a Lang for a batch sale/consignment? Maybe that's a next step. I have never done that, but none of our potential "discards" match the Lang esthetic as well as your very tasteful collection!

My IT guy had to migrate me over to Microsoft 365, because Rackspace's hosted exchange had a major security breach early Friday morning. :???: Their system is still down. So I'm now able to send/receive, but I don't have any of my old messages (or interim messages from when I was down). Hopefully, that data has been preserved (:pray:), and as soon as Rackspace's system is back up and running, I will look in my emails for the jewelers' names!

I was panic-stricken at first, @Crimson, but now I've decided I'll stay calm and just deal with whatever happens when the time comes. TBH, my main concern is that my old data isn't lost. :pray:

UPDATE: A jewelry store owner has agreed to purchase the remaining pieces in this thread. I took a decent loss selling everything together, but I figure the convenience was worth it. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know it's all been sold. I'm waiting on a wire transfer to come through. A big thank you to everyone who commented and purchased!!
