I am considering a AVR as a daily wear ring, since I prefer optimum light performance over the traditional OECs. My main consideration for considering them is the price point: around 1.3k...unwilling to spend too much since this is my 1st vintage styled diamond. Also open to consider other options.

Btw, so far I only know AVR has a vintage cut with optimum light performance...hence, am willing to look at other brands/style of cutting too.

I think its all personal preference. AVRs work well in lower colors so the "I" shouldn't be a problem to most. I have no needs/wants
to have an IF. I would prefer a higher color and went with the G. Really isnt a wrong answer!

I'd also pick the G VS1 over the I IF. Victor Canera does his version of newly cut OECs with his Canera European Rounds.

I happen to slightly prefer the .43 I in the video for some reason. I ended up not liking the tint in a .76 I, though (even in my 10 pointer side stones the I/J were visibly tinted from the side, and from the top all of them were definitely warmer than my G and F upgrades), so if you are color sensitive and don't like it, I'd go for the G.

Thanks all, David from GOG said that he prefers the I IF due to the light leakage exhibited in G VS1.

Do you think that is a problem? Higher color will be better, despite the leakage?

I think both look absolutely fine. I'd personally choose the G. Better light return around the edges.
