Away for a few days, and back with news...

I''m engaged! I didn''t think this would happen until at least the second half of ''08, so it was completely unexpected and a huge surprise, but a very very exciting one. I never put myself on the LIW list because I wasn''t really in that mindset, but apparently my FH (such a change from writing BF!) had other ideas

It was a very sweet, private proposal. My ring is minuscule by PS standards - .35 E VS1 Tiffany solitaire with knife-edge band - but it looks lovely and I love it because he picked it out (and didn''t make me bite all my fingernails off while waiting). No pics to post right now, it''s at Tiff''s being resized.

Also, congrats to everyone else who got engaged recently - I haven''t had time to read all the other posts since I got home!

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone! We''re so happy, and it''s especially nice because our friends and family are so excited for us too. And he''s taking me on a little vacation for the next couple days to celebrate! I miss my ring though - I was surprised at how quickly I got used to it, but I didn''t want to risk traveling with it when it was a little too big. It should be ready after we get back next week, and I promise I''ll put up a couple photos then!
