back to reality - with some non-pro pics

Well, J and I tied the knot on June 13th, and everything went just beautifully. There is not one thing that went wrong, and not one thing I would change. The gray skies turned blue for us, our vendors were amazing, the food was incredible, and best of all, every last person seemed to have fun. Being organized, but not fixated on any single detail (or details in general for that matter), seemed to make the day stress free. Well that, and fabulous friends and staff. It''ll be a while before we get our pro pictures back, but here are a few non-pro pics for the time being.

The only non-pro pic taken at our silly photo station. Sadly, a photobooth wasn''t in our budget, so when our photographers asked if we''d mind being guinea pigs for a new service they were considering offering, we were all over it.

Thanks for all the lovely compliments! And yes, the reception dress is by Sue Wong. It was part of my bridal shower gift from my sisters & mother.

As for the cake stand, I rented it through my caterer. I was having a hard time finding a similar one for under $70-$80 (most were well over that amount), and since it was unlikely that I would ever use it again, I made an inquiry. I believe she used Classic Party Rentals (in the Bay Area) for most of the rentals...
