I am in my brothers wedding on June 23rd...I just found out that we (the bridesmaids) are responsible for making our own appoinments and getting our hair done...I have longer layered hair with bangs that sweep to the side...but I have no idea what to do with it...any ideas? pics would help....
I just know it all needs to go up...its going to be hot out and we are taking pictures outside...

Here is a pic of the dress....I was not smiling when the pic was taken...but.....yeah....happy...

i vote low chignon with side swept bangs.

I think the french roll would look nice too

On a side note, I always pictured you having long dark hair!! Its so funny how you picture someone to be from the internet!!!

I agree. I think that would look elegant and very flattering!

ditto, you have great taste Jcrow.

yeah I think of certain people on here a different way and then...its not even close...I always thought of Mara as a blonde with big bling...then i was pleasently suprised..LOL

Can you show a pic of what you are talking about?? This is going to be a fancy wedding so I want it to look good....

i hate to show my own pics, but that's what i've got. i'll look for other pics and post them.
anyway... in my thread you can see how my maids did their hair. low bun. side swept front. i like the idea of a bit looser front esp. if you have side swept bangs. i think that would be fresh & elegant. you can also see how i wore my hair. i wouldn't suggest something so big and fluffy only b/c your not the bride, but it's the same concept. low, chignon. side swept front.

this was my inspiration for my maids' hair... it's just a different take on the typical bun. sortof a knot. again, i wouldn't do a full back front. keep the side swept bangs. loosely too. not slick.

Mara...I don''t really know why I thought that...it was just my impression...diamond obsessed...LOL not that its a bad thing....we ALL deserve big bling....lol

I will keep looking for more ideas for the hair...I want something fun with the back, I can''t not have it be like my personality!! Thats just wrong...
