Bad Luck??

My boyfriend and I found an absolutely gorgeous ring in a jewelry store today... this picture doesn''t do it justice, but the center diamond is set in a yellow gold heart, and the side stones (and band) are white gold with hearts on the sides.

(Un?)fortunately, when we found the picture online, we found out it was an anniversary band. I''m not sure where I got the notion, but for some reason I thought I''d seen that anniversary bands as engagement rings were bad luck. Am I losing my mind or has anyone else heard this?

If we all lived by wives tales, I would be 4 feet tall, my face would have "frozen that way", rain clouds would follow me and would have died by age 4. Luckily, neither one is true.




But if someone sweeps over your feet, or if you sit at the corner of a table, you'll never get married. So far, I have avoided those, and still waiting for my ring...wait...I THINK I avoided those....OOppss! Maybe the table corner thing might have happened!
