Band DJ Combo

Has anyone ever done a Band DJ combo or been to a wedding with both? How did it go? Thanks.

We are having a jazz band during dinner and then a DJ after. It shouldn''t be a problem from what I hear, just make sure the DJ sets up before hand. You dont want them setting up during dinner!

That sounds pretty cool. Are they giving you reduced rates and are they with the same company or two totally different vendors?

I am thinking about doing the same thing! I want the band during the ceremonial parts and dinner, than after I want a DJ. Mostly because I worry the band won''t be able to play what I want etc. Also thinking of just having an ipod set up when the band leaves.

nice, I was thinking the same thing. what area are you in and when is your wedding? i''m in NJ and getting married in the Fall... I did some preliminary research and there are vendors that do this sort of thing but I just have to find one that I like.

Where in Jersey are you and when is your wedding? We have a band and DJ and I can tell you they are amazing. They are from Jersey, you may know them. 39mariner. Lol...yes, we hired a jersey shore band. They bring a DJ with them.

woah! no way... Our wedding is actually going to be in Bergen County (northern jersey) in November. I will definitely check them out. Are they expensive?

They''re two different vendors, and we''re just paying for the hours we book them for.
