Beach Wedding Flip Flops or Barefoot????

Hey everyone! I''m still trying to decide whether or not I should wear flop flips for my beach wedding in Jamaica next February. I think it would be smarter to go barefoot being I''ll be walking through the sand and everything but I love having a little height. Does anyone have any advice that has had a beach wedding in the past? What do you think...barefoot or about 1 1/2 inch heel flip flops??? Thanks ladies

I wore flip-flops down to the location, but for the actual ceremony I was barefoot. I didn''t care about height, and also if you''ve ever seen yourself walking in flip-flops on sand, you''ll know it can be a little awkward! With my dress, you could not see my feet, so it really didn''t matter what I was wearing, it was more about comfort. Lol, I WILL tell you (just remembered) that after the ceremony while I was taking my pictures (barefoot), I did step on/get stung by a bee! Guess that''s one caveat lol.

Yeah you won''t be able to see my feet either... I''m still undecided!!! Hmmmm it would definitely be more comfortable going barefoot but I don''t think I''d be uncomfortable in flip flops. I initially bought wedge shoes that were like 3 inches. I ended up returning them because that would have been way too difficult to walk in the sand with. I dunno what I was thinking LOL

Our reception was on the beach (wore heels for the gazebo ceremony) and I was barefoot the entire time even though I had bought wedges to wear. I only put on shoes for our first dance. Barefoot was the most comfortable option for me.

Barefoot. Trust me on this - you don''t want to try and walk in a dress, on the beach, with flip flops. The result is not pretty!

only if the sand is not hot.

I wore flip flops just in case and did just fine walking.

As many person suggest you for barefoot i also like that its feel so romantic to walk with your husband on beach....
