Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. This was the view from our room balcony. We had a suite overlooking the ocean on a mini-getaway with the family as our Christmas gift from Santa and to celebrate my boys' birthdays. It was heavenly.

Yes, Both are Mara...

We still get all the beauty here, just have to deal with a little more rain and colder temps..

This is at Fort Bragg, winter 2004. No filter was used - this red color is exactly how everything looked. It was surreal!

I like this one (also Fort Bragg) with the sea stacks in a different light. I doubt you''ll be able to see it in this picture, but in the original picture, you can see these huge raindrops coming down. It was raining and the sun was shining beneath the clouds all at the same time!

Hi all.....

This was the end of a sunset from our apartment window downtown Boston . The green area is Boston Common flanked by the Charles river on the right , John Hancock and the Prudential on the left and in the far, far distance is the Piece de Resistance - Fenway Park!!

I took this picture during the world series playoffs against the yankees (I think we lost that day but hey we had to give them a head start! ) !

Of course the view is currently under a few foot of snow right now so picture everything white!

This is a trick picture! It''s not a sunset picture...it''s daytime during the big fires at Yellowstone National Park. It got so dark at times, it was almost like nightfall.
