Beauty Product Must-Haves - What's Yours?

I the Make-Up Forever HD powder! FINALLY got it and tried it today - it's so light and I love the finish it gives (though embarrassingly it took me forever to get the powder where I could dip the brush in it - I've never used loose power before!). I am officially retiring my pressed powder compact.

Autumn, thanks for the brush rec - I got the Sephora one you recommended with the fat black barrel and it's so soft! Love it!

I also got my favorite Frederic Fekkai shampoo and conditioner, cuticle cream (such a huge must-have right now with the weather getting colder and drier) and some nail polishes. Love beauty products

How AWESOME is that powder?! Honestly, I'm trying to get SO to just -try- it lol...I told him nobody has to know!

The brush is gonna last forever---worth the 30$ right?! Great brush, glad you loved it too!!!

I bought the brush at my Sephora today and all I have to say is I LOVE the brush, the HD powder, and the Too Faced shadow insurance! My makeup has looked great all day and I have oily skin. Thanks everyone for the recommendations!!! Autumn, do you just tip over your powder a little when the lid is still on to get it to come out? Like BEG said I am not used to loose powder. Autumn, I bet the powder would work well on your SO. I know he doesn't like the idea but just a little sweep in the morning and I bet he'll look less oily come end of day. I know I do!!

Actually, I shake it a little bit when the lid is still on so that way some comes through the holes of the little 'bottle' and then you can dip the brush into that! My plan of action is to show SO how great HD is while he is buzzed off a few drinks

Ha ha ha!! There you go! You can tell him it is just powder, not even makeup really you know? It's not like your asking to put foundation on him!

I'll try the HD shake technique instead of tipping it over when I do my makeup tomorrow!

Technically, it's probably too intense for someone in their twenties (if that's even possible), but it was the only one I tried that kept my skin moisturized throughout the day. I use it twice a day, which probably isn't necessary, since I don't have to deal with harsh climate anymore, but I'm wrinkle-obsessed and it puts my mind at ease. It's kind of pricey but worth it; One jar lasts be about half a year.
