begining to get stressed

something happened recently that i can''t stand. why would someone, who has no authority over our wedding, think that she can "put her foot down" on my fiance and me seeing each other to take pictures before the ceremony? same with telling me that you don''t like certain details of the wedding that i have already decided on, just after i told you about my plans. i think it is so rude how some people think they have so much authority--i mean where to they get off making these types of comments, without regard to the feelings of the bride or groom? i hope i have enough class never to commandeer someone''s wedding, and to keep my mouth shut if i disagree with their decisions.

sorry this is happening to you, it must be something about weddings but these seems to happen to all brides. Just get used to it, even though its crappy - people will do this and i dont know why!?

I figured it was a family thing. I''m sorry that you''re going through this right now. I''m exactly in your shoes with my family. All that matters is your day is YOUR day, it needs to be right for you and FH, and that''s it. It''s one thing to tactfully give your opinion on things, and accept when the person does not want to do what you suggest, but when someone gets like that, I have no tolerance.
