Best place to get a sapphire?

Hello all -
I''m looking for a 2+ carat sapphire for my ering and I could use some guidance. I prefer the lighter to medium blue hues as I''m in love with the radiant cut - I want everything to be a big sparkly square! Sparkle factor is a big deal to me and I''m very torn on how important having an unheated vs heated stone is. I have cruised the NSC site several times but they never quite have what I want. The price range for the stone is 7K or less. Any other places I can look for high quality sapphires online or in southern CA? The sapphire will be set into a three stone setting with 1/2 carat radiant cut diamonds on either side.

Oh, and if the sapphire is mined in conflict free/local community support company, all the better.

I don''t know about So. Cal but online you could look at: ACS, AJS Gems, Simply Sapphires, ATG and R W Wise.

if sparkly is what your after i would suggest concave cutting! www.concavegems.com has beautiful round,square or oval sapphires, just email them with a special request, im sure they will try to meet your needs.
