Here's my princess and round burnished bezel set ring that doesn't fit anymore because I had three children (yes, lets blame the kids). It's 8mm in width I think and around 18 grams of platinum. It's a comfort fit ring and super solid. The setter had the most difficult time drilling the holes for the diamonds in it. The diamonds go all the way around, and the inspiration for this ring was the Tiffany one, but this is much bigger!

Here''s the inside of the ring. I always love to see the details that no one sees.

Reminds me of renaissance jewels, absolutely gorgeous and elegant. Works of art actually.

Love in Bloom I love that Pink Tourmaline ring (and all your other beauties

) just wondering where you got the setting from? as I am thinking of having one of my spinels set similarly...

No comment on the MIL

. The cut on the tourmaline suits it quite well...with all of the strange and quirky things gem cutters do lately it''s actually refreshing to have a plain old diamond-cut gem!

I never thought of my jewelry that way, and thank you very much for the kind words. I wish I could show these to you in person because Van Craeynest pieces are quite a thing to behold both tactilely and visually. I''m totally a Van Craeynest nut

Hiya Bling addict, how have you been? I purchased the setting on *gasp* eBay. Here is one just like it. And yes, the setting does look that way in real life; you will need a really good jeweler to polish and set your stones properly...

Good luck!
