Birthday weekend!

FF is taking me a to a Haunted B&B in Ohio for my 26th birthday this weekend! Technically the b-day is Wednesday, but we''re celebrating over the weekend.

I''m super excited to go. I love little road trips with him. Especially if there''s a chance of some ghost action!

Not expecting a proposal, (like, really not expecting one, not *not expecting* but secretly hoping

) but some good-time birthday dust is definitely needed!

I hope it''s an awesome time. If FF seriously proposed, I''d be floored. I am NOT expecting it at all. I''d cry, say yes, and kick his butt for pulling one over on me so well.

It is in Columbus! Good guess, Katamari! What suggestions do you have? I''ve only ever driven through Columbus on my way to Cincy.

Oh, yay! I have been living in Columbus for 5 years and I love it here! You will have a blast.

The best news is that the game is away this week. That really shuts down the city.

If you want to come downtown, there are several bars and restaurants that I highly recommend.

Downtown restaurants: For something very nice (but expensive) Alana''s or Rosendale''s. If you want something still nice, but not break-the-bank, you should try Burgundy Room, Tip Top, or Spaggio''s. And, good but casual eats, you could try Thurman''s Cafe, Columbus Brewing Company, or the Old Mohawk.

The best bars are Surly Girl, Bodega, Vino 100, and Barley''s.

You totally have to get Jeni''s ice cream as your birthday treat!

People love shopping at Easton Town Center, but that is not my bag. My favorite hangout is Studio 35, which is a bar/movie theater. But, they only show a movie or two at a time, so you will need to check that it is something you want to see.

I am sure you will have a great Columbus b-day!

Oooh, one more thing I just thought of. If you are into it, there is an Andy Warhol exhibit at the Wexner Center right now that is really cool.
