I wanted to post it in here because I’m trying to help myself enjoy this ring and feel allowed to wear and appreciate it (complex psychology going on with me at the moment) so here we are, my massive onyx oval halo antique ring. I’ll see if I can find more details about it.

This ring is a celebration ring, and reminds me to always keep out an eye for a silver (or platinum, diamond) lining!

i like it best on your middle finger.
If you want a nice bracelet to go with it, you should keep an eye out for a vintage manual gold or platinum diamond watch, even better if the watch isn’t working. I’ve done a few conversions by putting a gem in where the watch face was, a few others have done likewise. It’s a great way of getting a diamond bracelet much cheaper,
I only paid $200 for this one, no watch at all, on eBay a while back. It’s 14kt white gold, because the centre is exact 10 x 10 mm I can switch around the centre bit. I’ve got a jade square and an onyx square.
i actually have a heap of onyx pieces (from the gem haul) and can give you a piece if you like.
