Sold Blue Akoya Pearl Studs

Hi Everyone,

I am letting go of two pairs of blue akoya pearl studs that I purchased from Yssie earlier this year. I am very new to pearls so I am just learning what I like and what suits me. These are seriously gorgeous but I don't think the cool blue is very complimentary to my complexion, so I am going to look for a pair with a pinkish tone. And of course when I bought these I thought I should have two sizes just in case so the smaller one is also for sale.

The larger pair is practically new. I wore them 3 times. The smaller pair have never been worn.

Here is the thread on it. The pair I am wearing is the 9.0-9.5mm pair. Not pictured is the 8.5-9.0mm pair.

@diamondseeker sold a pair earlier this year also from @yssie so I am using her description with her permission. Yssie considers these equal to or better than her certified Madama blue akoya pearls. These are round and have very high luster. They have 18k white gold cup-posts with temporary backs. I am letting these go for what I paid (plus shipping) which is an incredible deal. I will sell to US only and will use USPS Priority Mail small flat rate boxes with insurance. Shipping is included in the prices above. Payment by PP F&F or Venmo. Final sale, no returns.

For anyone looking for blues - these are a really good deal. You’re going to get blues/greys of this quality for this price from any US-local vendor. A bunch of us decided to buy blues from Takahashi and combined our order to save on individual shipping and wire transfer fees. We bought the full card of smallers from Takahashi - got a little discount that way - and they shipped everything to me; I matched the smaller pairs myself, the biggers came pre-paired and I kept those as-is.

I have a pair of my own from this project, in the bigger size, and I wear them a ton

I consider myself extremely fortunate that @yssie vetted these pearls. I would never trust myself since I am such a newbie, if even that. But she knows her pearls, as you all know. So if you love blue akoyas, then I hope you can get these. I will mention that I love the goldens (also vetted by Yssie) that I also got along with these blues. She is an expert among experts, and I actually didn't think I would ever sell these because why would I ever sell a pair that Yssie herself chose? But I do think I would wear pink ones a lot more so I want to try to help fund a nice pair.
