So regarding the ....Natural Sapphire Company....
*I* personally have not had a bad experience when I purchased this small pear last week.
I placed the order on a Thursday, it shipped on Friday, and I received it on a Monday.
The color is gorgeous and was represented correctly. It came packed nicely with all the paperwork.
The entire process was easy and I got my item as described for a reasonable price. It wouldn't be right of me to give them a bad review as that has not been my experience.
However, I would not order on-line from them again. If they have a stone I'm interested in for a ring (that's next), I will call to make sure the pics on their site is of actual stone and not something that was sold.
I would also make sure they have the stone in their possession. That there's no "on hold" BS going on.
Would I recommend them? No. After everything I've recently read, it seems to be a; "purchase at your own risk" type of situation with them.
Their practice of putting items on hold and still allowing others to purchase them even after they've been bought if off-putting. So is keeping the same video/pics for different stones because "they're identical." Those practices don't exactly inspire trust in me. Like always Buyer Beware.
So with all that said, here's a few pics of the stone. I adore the color. It really is a beautiful Blue.
I've looking for pics of gemstone pendants for inspiration. The design I was thinking of won't work since my diamond size is the too close to the sapphire @Cerulean you were right, it won't work well.
So wondering if anyone has, or can point to me to thread that lists modern gemstone pendants? As well as recommend someone that can do the work?
This is going to be a layering piece that I'll wear with my martini set diamond pendants.
