I found the dress that would look GREAT on all of my girls...finally I found it!! But alas it''s a BCBG gown that retails for $368

There is not one bridezilla bone in my body that will even consider asking my girls to pay that for a BM dress...

So I come to you ladies for some help with finding a dress similar for a not so similar price...PS has the best internet researchers and I could use some help...

Any directions you could point me in would be great!

I tried looking for something similar, but everything that looked good was BCBG!
I'm not the best for looking, but that dress is so pretty I don't blame you for looking for something less expensive.
What details do you want to see in another dress?
Also, what price are you trying to stay at or under?
 
That is a lovely dress ... I might be able to help though, I remember seeing styles quite similar by Jasmine Bridal''s Belsoie Bridesmaid line when I was looking and really liked them!

One of my all time favourite Bari-Jay bm dress styles .... It *might*, unfortunately, be around the same price point as the BCBG one, though ...

Pinkstars: I think what I like most about the dress is the grecian feel of the dress...if that makes sense. It''s very flowy which I love. I also like the waist detail. I think that it hide''s tummy issues too...2 of my BM''s have tummy issues...1 has had a hard time loosing her baby weight which she carries all in her belly, and my MOH (my sis) will have just had a baby 1 month before the wedding...I want to get something that has an empire waist and flows down from there. I''m looking to keep the dresses in the 140-150 range.

Spark: Those are really pretty...I love the Bari Jay, it''s almost as perfect as the BCBG

Squirrly: I really like that Bill Lvkoff dress. The flower is really cute. Do you know anything about that House of Brides website? 2 of my other BM''s are out of town and ordering online would be great for them...just curious

newsboysgrl: That site is pretty cool! I''ve never heard of it before...I might be spending a lot more time there. I like that dress you posted but I''d rather have a full length dress...It''s a night wedding in December in CO. I think full length fits the feeling more...It''d be a perfect dress if it was longer though. Also all those BCBG dresses were BEAUTIFUL...but I didn''t see any black ones that would work for BM dresses...

Definitely check out the Jasmine line then. They have a TON of chiffon options, and a lot of them are empire waisted.

Actually all of their dresses can be changed to whatever fabric you want for $20. The ones we just got were in the $170-$200 range.
 
Here is a pretty Eden gown.. It should not be terribly expensive. If you like it I can look up the price tomorrow when I go to work.

I LOVE IT TOO!!!! :) :) :)

I wanted to see how it would look black...so I re-colored it...and I love it more. But ignore the fact that it's sort of 'choppy.'

i''m afraid i don''t know much about house of brides, i''ve mostly used it to look at different styles. i did just google reviews for the site and found many complaints, so to be safe i would say don''t order it through them

however the designer''s site has a store locator and there are two shops within 10 miles of my zipcode that carry his line, so that might be an option for your girls to find something near them that they''d be able to try on and have a shop to help with any alterations
