booked my band! nyc area bride opinions?

hi all....
i''ve just booked a hank lane band (ernest mills) they sounded AMAZING. i''m just scared b/c they didn''t show a demo and there are no showcases so i wish i had some guarantee that what i heard is what i get. i''ve heard wonderful things about them but i also saw some scary reviews. advice? thoughts? the deposit is in so i''m hoping someone can offer reassurance that we made the right decision.

has anyone used a hank lane band or been to a wedding that used them?

Hi Marlie!

I''m using them right now for my September wedding. We worked with Spencer and he let us here demos as well and were very impressed. Although the band we picked doesn''t have any showcases either, I''m not worried. Hank Lane was actually recommended by our venue so I''m sure we''ll be okay.

Thanks Diva! I feel better hearing that another bride is confident in them. The band that we booked sounded sooo good that i thought it was too good to be true i guess. I booked ernest mills band. who did you book?

it was just scary to me b/c i saw so many mixed reviews...but i guess that''s true with anything. and they must be reputable if your venue recommended them...

where are you getting married? september is right around the corner! so exciting!!
