Bridal Shower Dress

So I have been told by my mother and BMs that I need to start looking for a dress for my shower. I have no clue when it is but they suggest that I begin looking now. What are great places to try? I was thinking a cutesy kimono type dress because it would be nice to have a little sleeve. I have pretty much only checked Neiman Marcus; however, I don''t want to spend $400 on a dress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you want a wrap dress (is that what you mean by a kimono dress??), you''re probably looking for Diane von Furstenberg. You should be able to find her stuff in quite a few large upscale department stores.

But I agree that DvF, as Independent said, is great! My very favorite designer, and one that really comes to mind for bridal showers and ladies'' tea parties, is Lilly Pulitzer! You can find her stuff in Bloomingdales and online.
