is this a real story? i live in nyc and i would have thought this would have made the news (beyond the brooklyn paper which i''ve never heard of..but then i don''t live in brookly). also looks like it happened months ago..

This actually happened but it was a while ago. There were posts about it at the time.

I remember this story and remember seeing the update. I never found out, though, if she climbed up there on Saturday night because it was supposed to be her wedding night? Then was found Sunday morning? Maybe there was no wedding date and she just decided to don her dress and climb up there on a Sunday morning.
