Hello Everyone,
I have been with PS through all my major decisions! My upgrade stone (Round Brilliant 1.5 carat/H/VVS2) arrives next week and David Klass is helping to design my ring. I am going for a simple classic solitaire with a softened knife edge and stone set high. I am having it paired with a channel set wedding band. They are designed to sit flush with no taper, I really dislike a taper. I'm a very petite 4.5 finger, my fingers are very short.
I am leaning towards claw prongs! Please see photos.
I wanted to gather your thoughts since may of you are experts, anything I should look to change up? I am thinking of having the channel set band at also 2.2mm if possible. I was told that the setter will cut and shape my prongs to my liking.
I am so excited, this journey has been months in the making. Working with DK has been a dream
