hi everyone, my future sister in law is getting married this august and having a really hard time trying to find a cake topper that she likes. most of the ones she''s found are either bride and grooms, which i don''t think she wants, or ones that are all lacy and really just not pretty. i''ve been trying to help her and i can''t find anything either- i must have been lucky to find the one i did for my wedding. she likes the initial ones but her name is sarah and my brother in law''s name is matt, so s & m doesn''t really work. Ü i think what she''s kind of looking for is a simple, pretty heart. can you guys either post pictures of the ones you used, or ones you have found, that you think might work? i will double check with her and make sure this is what she is looking for, and if what i''ve written is wrong i will update. thanks in advance for the help!

What about topping the cake with fresh flowers? Or, if she doesn''t like that idea, this site is cute for rhinestone cake jewelry (we''re putting two small butterflies from VDC on our cake!): Very Different Cakes

If those two initials make her uncomfortable, how about using the first letter of the groom''s last name? If their last name will be Jones, she could use a large "J".

On this website (if you scroll down), there''s a large silver metal heart: Cake Toppers (the silver swirl letters spelling "Love" are pretty cute too!)

HTH!

I saw these in a friend's wedding magazine and wished they were around when I got married! Do a search on Google for "Monogram Cake Topper" and you should get a bunch of links to different vendors. There are even ones that are encrusted with crystals! I think you can choose from a variety of fonts.

ETA...sorry...I just noticed the "S&M" issue. This one site that the image is form below actually allows you to order a letter for the last name. So you wouldn't have "S&M" if you ordered one for their last name. I like how it looks with a larger letter for the last name like below.
