anyone know a great calligrapher they can recommend for invitation addressing? i found a few i like online i just hate to go with one without any feedback from anyone.

I don''t know how convenient it would be, but my stationer does divine calligraphy! She''s in Asheville, NC - though I don''t see any reason why you couldn''t send them to her, if your other options are also online places. I haven''t actually had her do any calligraphy for me (yet ), but her stuff is beatiful and she also comes highly recommended from my venue and my florist. She even does different styles. No idea about the prices for that though.

HTH!

thanks fata!! i just emailed her to find out her rates and see if she works with out of state clients.

i wasn''t going to do calligraphy, but when i saw the invites i just felt i couldn''t use my own handwriting on them. the inside came out so nicely that i need the outside to reflect what''s inside.

well, she is a little bit more than I want to spend and she can''t start until sept. 18. I was hoping to have my invites sent out Sept. 14 to be delivered by the 18.

anyone else have any recommendations??

Hey! Have you asked on theknot? I know there is a lady in Oregon who is supposed to do really affordable and wonderful work. But I don''t remember her contact info... and my computer from then is fried. Sorry I can''t be of more help!

i checked the knot vendors in my area. i contacted her already and she hasn''t responded. i''ll look at the oregon list. would you recognize the name if you saw it?

i didn''t see one listed on the knot under oregon vendors. i can look later tonight at the message boards...

I think there is someone named Tracy joe, I think she is local to me, in SF area, who is supposed to do very good work, I havne''t used her personally though.

Ah here is here website: http://www.tracyjoe.com/index.html

Jcrow... no. It was too long ago. Sorry. Try the planning boards on the knot. Either P&E or AFB would be a good bet. Honestly AFB would probably be best.

Great find jcrow!

I used www.calligraphybyjennifer. She did beautiful work and best of all was affordable! I too have heard of the Blooming Quill. I think she was a little too pricey though.

thanks, i''ll check her out!
