Diver - I didnt really have the time before to say this when I posted about BFing, but I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your story. Like I said, I understand the struggle you had before and cant imagine trying to chase a toddler and deal with the issues. Sharing your story has been a huge help to me... its funny to say, but many nights while I am nursing I have thought about you and it has been a great comfort to know I''m not the only one... that I''m not broken, just having a harder time than most. I had a friend tell me while I was still preggo, I needed to stick it out for at least 6 weeks, so that is my goal for now... I am taking it one day, one week at a time.

Tgal - I wouldnt say it wasnt worth it. I made it almost my entire labor before I broke down and I blame the break down on progressing so quickly... I went from 5cm to 10cm in 2 hours. during the time I really needed to be relaxed and focusing on the HB, I was still in the "check-in" process and being asked so many questions and people coming in and out, having to sign this or that, would we like the chaplin to know we were there, etc. I know understand why in all the material it says to let your DH/labor coach handle all questions, but most of what I was being asked, DH couldnt answer. Part of me even believes the HB was the reason for my quick labor... months of listening to how my body knows what to do and that I will have a quick, painless birth. Another way to look at it was since I was able to go so longer before asking for an intervention, I lowered my risk of having more added. Like the BFing, pain relief is something each person has to decide about on their own and everyone has their own tolerance levels too.

Ella - Sorry you have hit your wall! I think you are doing outstanding though... 32 weeks, wooohooo!!!! Do what you gotta do girl!!!!

Tacori - Congrats on your little girl Tessa!!! Cant wait to hear all about. Sorry you are having some problems... rest up and get better!!!

Awww....Tacori!! I am so happy for you! I hope you recover quickly and get to enjoy your beautiful Tessa at home! I love that you chose that name, I am so partial to it, since that was "the" name I had picked out for my future daughter since I was 20. For some reason, when I was pg, this baby didn''t feel like a Tessa. That''s because Tessa was YOUR baby!!

I''ll be sending happy b00bie vibes your way, in hopes that you hit your groove soon with nursing. Definitely stick it out if you can, but know that I''m here for you no matter what you may be thinking/feeling at any given time. ((Hugs girlfriend))

Ok...I have to have a mommy brag moment. Can I say I think my daughter is the sweetest thing? She started smiling at me. OMG...I''m in love. I am on the couch right now..she''s next to me in her boppy asleep with her feet on my lap & my dog is snuggled in on the other side of the boppy. Lord, the cute factor is almost sickening. I''m such a sucker.
