Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Great shot of her hand open in front of her cheek...

PICS_32.JPG

And to finish, her feet. :) A little harder to make out, but they're kinda stacked one on top of the other (the big toe of the bottom foot is the bright spot close to the center of the pic, and it's touching near the top foot's ankle bone).

Hello Preggie Pumpkins! :wavey:

DivaDiamond, sending you major dust for your little wiggler! Kicks and punches are a great sign she's thriving in there!

Tao, can't WAIT to hear what you're having! Team pink or blue? I'll stay tuned!!!

Cupcake! Sending dust to your DH! Ohhhh, so excited for you! Telling work was a big deal for me, too. I never knew when it was safe to tell and wanted to wait until we were in our second tri. So exciting once you do spill the beans, though!

Hey Fiery! How did you dress little Sophia today? Everyone is sending me text photos of their little babies dressed up as hamburgers, pumpkins, bumblebees...It is so cute!

Random_thought - sorry about the nausea, especially the vomiting! It does get better, though!

NOELWR - WHAT A BEAUTIFUL QUILT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are so talented. Oh my, that is incredible. Your little one is so blessed! Thank you thank you for the advice on little duds - I was getting so many different opinions I felt overwhelmed. I trust the PS moms and most say what you are about the onesies and pants. Please keep us tuned on the homeopathic pills for reducing swelling and bruises! I'm totally planning on wrapping my tummy to help it tighten back and shrink to its pre-preggie size! I've checked out the belly wraps and have concluded that I prefer a good old ace bandage for this! Your post was incredibly helpful, thanks for all the info! And nice belly!!!

Lanie!!! So good to hear from you, too! Isn't it funny how much of a difference 15 lbs makes? It's huge! Now I know what it is like to be overweight for my frame or at least have a big belly - my back hurts, I get tired standing, it's harder to get around... I thought I had to gain 25-35 lbs as a standard. But then I looked up a chart for BMI and how much to gain per your height/weight and I guess I'm supposed to gain even more than the standard amount. :errrr: I'm not going to stress about it. I'm sure I will pack it on in the last 2 months. Why did your doctor scold you for gaining 20 lbs? That sounds like such a healthy beautiful weight to gain during pregnancy and still on the lower end of the spectrum, no? The last thing I want is to not gain enough because I want the baby to have everything she needs. I read it's better to gain weight than not enough because it being underweight can lead to premature labor and other issues. So you're doing great and look BEAUTIFUL! I'm going to ask my doctor about amniotic fluid or if it's time to measure my belly because it seems smaller than before lately. Oh, the weird things we worry about during pregnancy! Super hugs to you, Lanie!!!

Laila, thanks for the PSA. That cover is the cutest!

Hi Dreamer! Wow, I am a baby when it comes to period cramps and I hear labor is that plus so much more. I'm going to count on my yogic breathing and the epidural. :naughty:

Lynnie!!! Hello, dear! Aren't the flips and squirmies so adorable? I love them so much! I can't tell if she's annoyed or happy when I lie on my left side. Whenever I do so, I can feel her little hand on my left side squirming and squirming...then I get a ton of powerful kicks on my right side. Since she does it so consistently, I can only imagine that it must be uncomfortable for her in some way and she's trying to get out from being pinned or something? LOL - I have an overactive imagination. But she doesn't do that ever in any other sleeping position. But as soon as I lie down on my left side, she does the corkscrew thing with her arms and then kicks and kicks. Very different from the happy dancing after pineapple or pomegranate! Wouldn't it be so fun to be able to look into our bellies and watch them all day? I wish tummies came with windows!

HOU!!!!!!!! Hooray for weekends off! That is a HUGE relief for your lifetsyle and I hope you can get enough rest now. Mama is a strong superwoman! Oh, I love hearing you describe little Ellie and her squirmies. It feels like a fishie in there, doesn't it? I never knew how something like that could fill me with such awe but I get goofy when I can feel the baby swimming around. They are active little pumpkins, aren't they? I love feeling their little limbs protruding out from the belly, that floods me with such love. They are so cute!!!! I cannot WAIT to meet her. She has us all under her spell already. Your little Ellie is going to be surrounded by so much love! I'm sorry to hear you were sick but hang in there! I have major indigestion at times, too. Mainly, I feel like my body is too small to hold a baby and so I feel like my internal organs are all smashed together. Overstuffed luggage = me. I wish my body came with a zipper or something so I could expand like luggage! No stretch marks yet, though! *knocking on wood* ETA: your scans are BEAUTIFUL and what a gorgeous little girl you have!!!! Those little fingers... too cute!!!!! :appl:

Kunzite!!!!! So happy you're still busy baking your bun! He needs to stay in there until mommy says so! YAY for getting your IV out! Noelwr totally helped me feel better about all the onesies! My other mama friend who I trust says her son lived in onesies as a winter baby - she just used pants and swaddled him at night. She said sometimes they can get too toasty so some short sleeved onesies are OK, too. Bring on the onesies! I got some Halo sleep sacks which I think might still be on sale - Loves Vintage posted the link I think in the last page.

****************
So last time I was at the doctor's office I had the one hour glucose test and was all paranoid about the syrupy drink. Well....It was DARN GOOD! Hahahahaha. I read online that women vomited it up or had to force it down because it was so gross and sweet. But I thought it was awesomely tasty! Hahahaha, and I don't even have a sweet tooth. EasyDex in Fruit Punch - I highly recommend this flavor and brand! Make sure you chill it before consuming! I also used a straw and that helped me suck it down quickly. DELICIOUS!

I'm looking forward to my flu shot tomorrow. I know it isn't a fail safe method to prevent infection but it gives me peace of mind - especially since it has swine flu included this year. Although it hasn't been tested long enough for me to eye it with anything but some skepticism, I am getting it since we're in a city with a lot of cases each year. DH got one last week.

We're asking our parents to get pertussis vaccines before they come to see the baby but otherwise, I think we're good to go. I'm in an online ordering frenzy for all the things I have been eyeing but not ordering. It just seems so overwhelming at times - so many different brands and features for every little thing. Which bottles to get... which nipples... glass or hard plastic for storing bm? Which stroller, crib or bassinet? I'll start out liking something very much because it looks so cool in photos but then go to the store to feel it and it'll either be too rickety or bulky so then I'll start from scratch again. Whew!

I'm also having weird baby dreams. The other day I dreamt I gave birth to a gummy worm, you know, like the gummi candy. It was the cutest gummy worm ever and I even breastfed it! Talk about bizarre dreams! I even dressed it in a colorful crochet sock. Crazy preggo dreams.... too funny!

Now that it's winter, when I put on a coat, I look like a gigantic lollipop on stick legs. Does anyone else waddle now? It is so weird carrying all of this extra weight and it's really really heavy! Tires me out! Now DH has to help me put on my socks, tights and shoes because I can't bend over without squishing my belly. I really feel like a cartoon character and it is hilarious! Oh, and I ordered some new Bravado nursing bras (love love love) and have learned that I am too big for a 32 DD/E bra. O..M..G. And my left boob is like 30% bigger than the right one. It's almost like a nuclear warhead. The weird thing is, my entire body is the same otherwise - so I feel like someone just stuffed a 20 lb turkey into my belly and two bowling balls into my bra. I should join a carnival!!!!

Hope everyone's doing well. HAPPY HALLOWEEN to your little pumpkins baking inside!!!!!!!
:appl:  :appl:

HMG, Wow at those ultrasound pics!!! Those 3D/4D images are always so amazing! Your parents must have been in awe! That's so awesome too that you were able to get her to re-position like that!

Bliss, So nice to hear from you! We've all missed you! It was Puppmom who rec'd the Halo on Zulily, so I'll transfer the thanks to her. I do subscribe to Zulily, though, I believe because Puppmom mentioned them on here many moons ago. So far, I've only made one purchase on there (this cute organic stuffed bear!), but I do love seeing what they have every day. Glad to hear you are doing so well!

So, I think I missed the onesie discussion. I'll have to go back. I wanted to mention that the sleeping gowns are also supposed to be great because they make changing diapers a bit easier. As far as swaddling vs. sleep-sacking, I will swaddle to start and then move on to sleep sacks as she gets older. Here's a thread for you: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/swaddling-help-please.150917/ In addition to the Aden + Anais swaddlers, much loved here on PS, I came across these Swaddle Designs blankets that people also seem to love: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3480267 Maybe they are a little warmer in the winter?

Re: bottles, I decided to go with the Born glass bottle starter kit. I figure I will add to it as I need to. Seems like moms often start with one brand and then move on to another anyway. It all depends on the baby it seems. I figure I have to start somewhere and just sort of gave in on this one. I am *tired* of researching things endlessly. I've even hemmed and hawed on the changing mat of all things. I give up!

Oh, and funny what you said about the baby moving differently when you lay on your side. Samantha does the same thing! I have no idea what direction she is in, or what body parts I am feeling, but there is a lot of twisting and turning going on?! Maybe gravity forces her to re-situate? I so have no idea what is going on physically!

Noel, Love your quilt painting. You're so talented. Can't wait to see what else you have cooking. I know you mentioned you have a few projects going on.

Kunzite, So happy you are doing well! Yay for the IV being out. Re: the childbirth classes -- just a thought, but are the classes through the hospital? Maybe you can get in touch with the instructor, and she might be willing to spend some time talking to you in your room? My instructor was super-committed, and I am sure she would be willing to visit someone in your situation who would be missing the class, to help them feel more mentally prepared for labor. Or, maybe there's a nurse who can make similar such arrangements for you. Since you are in the hospital anyway, and you have plenty of time to chat, I think it couldn't hurt to ask.

Hopefully, you have full internet access there and can still keep an eye out for that Indie!!! Re: the BH, I seem to only get them when I am really physically exerting myself, like this weekend, when I was doing a little yard work. I plan to ask my doctor about it today at my regular appointment.

Lynnie, I so wish I could be your FB friend, but I must confess, I am not on FB and kinda sorta never plan to be. Maybe I'll join once you all start sharing baby photos on there!!

Laila and Anyone else in the know, Do I need a baby snowsuit for any reason??? I mean, I don't think I'm going to be walking her too much outside in the early months. We won't be walking outside, at all really, just to and from the car if we go anywhere, and she would most likely stay in the car seat for such small trips anyway, right? I'm in CT, so it will be quite cold in January and for a few months following.

***********

AFM, today is 30 weeks!!!! I feel great! Some people still can't tell I'm preggo! I've got a looooonnnnnnngggggggg torso. Hee-hee! I get to visit the dr today, which I always look forward to, since it feels like a milestone to me.

I bought baby clothes this weekend!!!!!!!!!! Squeeeeeeeeeee! I went to the Carter's outlet, and was once again overwhelmed by all of the stuff, but I took it one rack at a time. Haha. I left with 10 or so outfits, including what I think will be her take-home-from hospital outfit, complete with a cute little white hat. DH is fully ready to meet Samantha. He got a little teary-eyed when I showed him the "I Love Daddy" onesie I got for him. He would probably not be happy about me mentioning that, so sorry if you're reading this sweetie! He's not one to get teary-eyed ever, so it was very, very sweet.

Houie - she's so sweet! she looks like a little cherub. the photos turned out really well.

Bliss - so good to see you posting again. can I use up some of your required weight gain? I am short so I'm sure I am already over the limit. if I lie on either side, my little girl squirms and kicks. I think it's just her getting into a more comfortable position. lucky you with no stretch marks. mine started about a couple of weeks ago: 3 parallel lines going diagonally a little on the right bottom of my belly and some lines on my hips. I oil it all 2x a day, since the 1st trimester, so goes to show you that it IS all genetic. the homeopathic pills I was talking about are Arnica D6. maybe you can google it or something - most of my search results turn up Dutch websites. I caved in and bought the perineum oil as well, as there seems to be no midwife who won't stand by it. will just have to muster up the courage to start "massaging" myself starting next week.

LV - at 30 weeks people can't tell you're preggo??? my, you must have a great body. yah, I'm not so into researching, either. the birth class teacher recommended either the Madela or Avent breast pump, and after "comparing" their pictures on the boxes (because I always judge a book by its cover), I went with Avent which also meant go with the same brand bottles. I'll find out soon enough if the baby likes them or not.

- - -

well, we're off to another class tonight. 3 more to go... but still 5 yoga classes to go. what did I get myself into? I think I'll have enough info to start my own classes after this! by the way, all the information I share about birth/labor/child care is just what I pass on from what I learn in class. not having been a mother, please don't take what I say as though it's coming from an expert. I find that the best people to ask are actually other mothers.

Noel, Haha! I should have clarified when I made that statement. I'm actually overweight to start and quite tall with a long torso. I often wear a maternity v-neck tee, sometimes with a regular cardigan over it. So, when I am out and about during the day, I think my clothing choices sort of mask the pregnancy. Today, I am wearing an empire waist top, and there's no hiding it now!!!

***
Back from the DR's. All is well. The doctor thinks the baby's head is already positioned downward, though, of course she could move. I don't think she will, though. And, it totally explains why I sometimes feel what I always imagined might be a little hand at the very top of my leg.

HMG..fabulous scans!! I loved seeing my little snake in there.

Bliss..I didn't mind the glucose test drink either hehe.

re: babies outside in the car seats... we have a covered garage and mild winters but J wasn't really outside all that much--maybe 30 seconds at most.. I'd just typically put a blanket tucked around him, and then an A&A blanket on top of the entire carseat for when we took him out when it was chilly.

G's Mom gave us a big fleecy snowsuit kind of as a joke (and it has bear ears so she loved it), but I think I will use it for him when I go on long walks this winter... that way he doesn't need a bunch of blankets around him. I can just zip him into the suit and he should be fine.

re: Halo sleep sacks.. Amazon typically also has good deals on them, I got one for J about a month ago for $14 with free ship as I have Prime. If you Moms have not signed up for Amazon Mom, definitely do it, 3 free mo of Prime and every $25+ purchase you make in the store counts towards more free months. I love Prime--I have had it for 3 years now.

Also...if you have a Buy Buy Baby near you, you can use the $5 off $15 coupons for a sleep sack, they are typically about $20 here so it would be $15.

I have some good news :) My mom is in town visiting my older sister for a couple weeks so she will be able to come along with us for our first ultrasound :) I think she is really excited and keeps insisting that we are having twins (I hope not!!) lol anyways, that's my little bit of happy news for the day :)

Hi Everyone, can I join the club?? :wavey:

I have been meaning write in here for a while but as the quote goes once bitten, twice shy.
With all that being said, we are going to be 18 weeks pregnant on Thursday. As one can imagine my husband and I totally psyched to be pregnant again. I was just reminding him that this our official second week without morning sickness...yeahhhhh!
Our little peanut has been moving a ton since the 15th and it is such a reassuring feeling... I just wish my husband could feel her.
The biggest adjustment has to be this belly I have. I am weighing 105 lbs, the same I started at, but this belly wow, it definetly here.
I look forward to posting more and hearing your stories  .
I'll have to post my first belly shot on Friday for you all to see.

Anyone else with an April 7th due date?

LL.

Ooooh, Mara! Great tip, thank you! Where do you get $5 off $15 coupons for Buy Buy Baby? :appl:

And puppmom has got me addicted to Zulily.com! It's awesome! Click click click. I love how shipping remains the same no matter how much you buy at one time. Thank you for the Halo sleep sack discount tip!

PS Moms ROCK!!!!! Hope everyone is doing well!

NOELWR, you are the best. Your little girl is such a lucky one.

Loves Vintage, you're right! And oh, you have so much good info to share as well! I will feel so much better once I have bought all the baby's things. My mom is making me promise not to buy too much before she comes to visit in two weeks. She called me about 10 times to report on all the cute baby clothes she's buying - oh my goodness, I had to talk her off the ledge. The last thing I want is for her to waste money on cute outfits the baby will only wear once. But she is an unstoppable force of nature! Thank you for the bottle recs and the other valuable advice! I am so happy we're all preggo at the same time. It makes this experience so much fun and I shake my head at the incredible luck of it all. I am SO happy for my PS sisters - we've been through so much together and now have so much to celebrate together!!!! :appl: Pretty soon we will be wheeling around little peanuts!

Hi preggies!!!!! I have been MIA but I always read. I am just terrible at posting

Not a whole lot going on here, I turn 20 weeks tomorrow! :o I can't believe it!

We found out we are team BLUE! I am really super happy about it, though the name issue is going to be horrendous. DH and I do not agree on boy names!

Wishing you all the best, I love reading how everyone is doing and I am excited for everyone!

Also, any heartburn tips? Mine started this weekend with a vengeance.
:wavey: :wavey:

Miscka - Congrats on Team Blue!!! :appl:  :appl: I have had awful heartburn for several weeks now - Zantac (or actually the generic, Ranitidine) has been my saving grace. That, and Tums as needed. The Tums help some but the Zantac is key for me...I pretty much take it every 12 hrs around the clock because if I don't things get ugly fast. I take the 150mg tabs every 12 hrs. Studies have shown it to be very safe in pregnancy.

Luvinlife - welcome to the thread!! Can't wait to see that cute belly of yours!!

Randomthought - yaaay for your mom being able to come to your ultrasound! What a special thing to be able to share with her. :) When is it??

Mara - thanks lady! :) She is definitely a little squirmy worm these days - I get more squirmy shifty movements than bumps/kicks lately - guess that means she's running out of room in there!

LV - yay for 30 weeks, and for head down! And yay for a good checkup!! :) Isn't baby clothes shopping fun?! Carter's has some really cute stuff. :)

Noel - thank you! I can't believe her little cheeks are chubby already!! :)

Bliss - good to see you around here, mama!! :) I hear ya on the overstuffed luggage thing. Hehe!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I have also started to have a touch of the ECP (Evil Crotch Pain, for anyone who hasn't seen it discussed here before). Nothing too bad yet, but definitely get achy twinges down there when I make certain movements (like squatting down, and especially if I squat with my knees apart - I can avoid it if I keep my knees together when squatting down, but that's getting harder to do with the belly in the way!) I am also ravenously hungry this week, which is a nice change from my always full, not hungry, upset heartburny tummy that I had in the recent weeks.

Gotta run - hope everyone's having a good day!! Kunzite, hope you guys are resting comfortably at the hospital and that O is baking away! :)

I just wanted to send a quick shout out to a couple ladies:

Houie - OMG, what a cute little lady you are baking in there. Thanks for sharing pics of your little princess. Keep baking well!

Miscka - Glad to hear that all is well and CONGRATS on Team Blue. I can sympathize with the difficulty with the boy's name. DH and I have had a girl's name since we started TTC, but we still can't agree on a boy's name. But, I'm sure you guys will find something you agree on, or else you could always make a game time decision and wait till you see him. Good luck and I wish you a continued healthy pregnancy!

Luvinlife - Glad to hear that all is going well with the little bean. I am sorry about all the issues with DH, but at least he made it through the surgery ok. Now, hopefully, you guys can both look forward to the birth of your little one! I wish you a very healthy and non-eventful rest of your pregnancy!

Noelwr - Great pic, such a cute baby belly. Keep baking lady, but only a few weeks left!

LV - Glad to hear your little one is going well. And thanks for keeping an eye out of me and the rest of the TTC girls. Please share you belly pic so we can see your adorable baby belly too :wink2:

luvin...Congrats!! I remember you...glad to hear everything is going well with the babe.

Bliss...sign up online I think for their mailers? But also if you get Bed, Bath Beyond coupons then you will get Buy Buy Baby too. Our first BBB (baby) just opened up nearby so we just started getting them in the mail too.

also RANDOM general shopping tip but I just found out last week at our local Bed, Bath Beyond that they will take multiple coupons in each order, one for each item. so those 20% off one item or $5 off $15...some woman in front of me used FIVE in an order, one for each of her goods. AND they take expired ones. and here i have been throwing out old expired ones for years now. DUH me. Anyhow just a PSA for anyone who shops there a lot. I don't know if Buy Buy Baby is the same or not.

Our first ultrasound is next Friday. Also I recently learned that twins run on my side of the family :errrr: I'm praying there is a SINGLE ONE UNO bebe in there!!!

:wavey:

Hou-Thanks for the warm welcome. Yuck on the heartburn, I had it during past pregnancy and I hope it doesn’t rear it’s ugly head for this one. I am glad to hear Ranitidine is providing you with some relief.

DCgator-Thanks for the good wishes. My husband hasn’t had any type of surgery. Perhaps you confused me with Cupcake? I keep telling my husband that I need to keep him as healthy as possible. I’m not sure how I would do all of this without his support.

Mara-Hi! Your J…all I can say is GORGEOUS  ! He’s growing up so fast! It seems like just yesterday you announced that you were pregnant.

Super fast iPhone drive by, but congrats to luvin! And such cute pictures HOU!!! Glad you are feeling better! And I've already forgotten, but congrats to the two new team bluers! Boy names are hard but you'll find the perfect one! Yay!!! And cute quilt painting Noel!

Hou.... Such awesome pics, am so happy for you... Lovin yay, such happy news.. I don't read as I used to , so forgive me.. Doesn't mean I don't care. I love you all, and your stories give us all such joy... I have had an illness and am trying my best to be positive..

Just wanted to pop in and say a special hello to Hou, Noel and Bliss. You guys were my buds in the early preggo thread and I SO looked forward to sharing my pregnancy with you. I was so sad when that ended. I just remember feeling so disappointed that my virtual friends couldn’t join me in my journey. And now…you’re all preggo again and about to have babies at the same time! I just can’t believe it. It really warms my heart to come here and see how well you’re all doing. I can’t wait to *meet* your little ones!

Hi Luvinlife!! Welcome!! :wavey: Congrats on 18 weeks! Do you plan to find out gender?

Mara, Thanks for the Amazon Mom tip! I am on there all the time and have never heard of it.

Miscka, Congrats on TEAM BLUE!! :appl: :appl: :appl:

DCG, Thanks for checking in on us! I've definitely grown this past week. People at work have been commenting on the difference too. I wish I had been taking pics all along, so I can see the difference over time. Oh well. I will try to post a pic soon.

welcome luvin and marquise!

Question for you all - does anyone wear a support girdle? I think I have an umbilical hernia; my belly button area hurts and when I flex my stomach (which I try not to), it bulges out a bit there. I think it was caused by doing the wrong exercises, straining, and just my belly growing out too fast. It seems like wearing a girdle during pregnancy is not common, so I was wondering. It seems like it would help and I'm afraid of what wil happen in the next 15-16 weeks because hernias don't go away, you need surgery (eek!). Thanks.

CatLuver, a maternity belt saved my life! I could barely walk (without pain anyway) but walking with the belt was SO much more comfortable. Have you thought about one of those?

Pupp, that's what I was considering. Do you have one that you recommend? Did you have front pain or back pain (or both)?

Thanks pupp! I hear you on the heavy belly thing.

CatLuver - funny you should mention it, I just discovered that I have a small umbilical hernia too! Mine's itty bitty (like, I can't see it, my belly button's still an innie, but if I put my finger inside my belly button I can feel it poking out and it definitely pokes out more when I bear down or flex my tummy) but it is tender there. I can feel the little hernia ring, and it's smaller than my fingertip, but I just hope it doesn't get bigger! Something supportive might help - 2 things I have liked are this support garment (especially when I wear dresses):

http://www.destinationmaternity.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=96522Z10111&MasterCategory_Id=MC32

Also, I've still been using my Bella bands from early pregnancy for extra support, esp when I have to wear scrubs to work. They don't provide heavy support, but just enough to make things feel better. I did buy one of those super preggo support bands at Babies R Us (because it got good reviews online) but haven't worn it much so far. I suspect I will enjoy it when my belly gets a bit bigger/heavier.

LV, yeah, I'm pretty sure we need to see a pic of you!! Have you posted one yet?? I don't remember seeing one....

Pupp, thanks for checking in on us!! I was just thinking the other day how I'm so glad that those of us who were preggo with you but had losses all ended up getting preggo again together. Thank you for your happy thoughts!! Hope you and your little man are doing well!!

Kaleigh - thank you so much for popping in too, and for your sweet comments!! You said you have had an illness - are you OK?? I sure hope so. I will keep you in my prayers!!

Lanie - thanks love! Sorry Dr. B was mean about your weight - was she serious, or did she say it kinda jokingly?? I can't see her being mean, yanno?! Plus, for someone who struggled to put on weight at the beginning, I think you're doing great!! I truly believe that our bodies do what they need to do most of the time, and preggo weight gain is really not as much in our control as we think it is.

RT - OK, so ultrasound one week from tomorrow, right?? Will be thinking about you, and hoping for one healthy bebe in there!! :)

DC - you're too sweet to check in on us over here!! I am always checking on you over there, too, even if I don't post much. :) And sending happy healthy baby dust your way!!

Hou- you're too sweet (too, not two, geez i'm going to jinx myself!! :errrr: lol)

Wow, this thread is jumpin!!

Houie - I LOVE your new u/s pics!!! Makes me wanna get another 4D one! So cute, those lil chubby cheeks!!

Bliss! Glad to hear you're doing well! I got my flu shot about 3 weeks ago... my arm was sore, and maybe I felt a little more tired than usual for 2 days or so, but it's definitely worth it to get it. LOL at crazy dreams!!! I breastfed my cat one night in a dream!! haha. And I had another dream where I had baby legs sprouting out of my tummy, and I was trying to push them back in! Weird! And I can join you in the 'Big Left Boob' club  Crazy what our bodies can do, huh??

Miscka - Congrats and welcome to TEAM BLUE!!!!

Luvin - Congrats and welcome!! Wishing you a H & H remaining 22 weeks!!!

Noel - Love the painting!! You're a talented gal!

LV - My LO's head is down, too... my bladder can't take it sometimes!! I feel like going every 10 minutes sometimes, so I run to the bathroom only to produce the tiniest trickle!! Congrats on 30 weeks!!

Kunzite - continued 'no leak' dust to you! Hoping all is well... Bake, baby, bake!!

Catluver - I started wearing a Bella Band, but nothing more heavy duty to work. I only have 15 shifts left, and am hoping to hold out... but these 12 hr shifts are really getting looooong. The gravity thing, yanno? Like I said earlier, my bladder can't take it! I've got the painful lower belly thing going on, too... like I can actually feel it stretching. Have you decided on one yet?

RT - Yay for your U/S!!! How many weeks will you be? 13 yet? Cause then they can venture a guess at the gender.

Everyone else - Lots of baking dust! And you all know it's Friday... lets see some bellies!!!

AFM - Nothing much new... Chillin at almost 34 weeks. I can't believe it. I'm a little freaked out about being a MOMMY!!! Just... wow. It's so overwhelming at times. It's just been DH and I for sooo long (like, 10 years!)... Don't get me wrong, I'm so excited for the baby, but it will definitely be an adjustment, to say the least!!!

33w5d bare belly pic:  No outie yet!! I wonder if mine will stay in the whole time... it's always been a really deep belly button :twirl:

:wavey: everyone!

Just checking in since DH's surgery has kept me away from the forum. Hope all the lovely preggos are doing well.

AFM: not much going on, just taking care of DH. FIL is with us for another week or so and then I am on my own to care for him. I was just joking with him that after all this, I should get an upgrade . It's been rough since I have to do pretty much everything for DH...bathe him, turn him, feed, him, dress him, etc. But hopefully the recovery will get easier as we go on. One thing that's already improving is that he no longer has shooting pains in his legs nor does he have the weakness in his legs! :appl:.

The little Alien and I are going well. We are on our week 15. Still have m/s but I am still hopefully it will subside. My FIL commented on how much bigger I've gotten in the last week. So I took a belly pic, thought I would share. How much longer do you think it will be until the jig is up at work? No one has commented at all...but then again, with clothes on, it's hard to tell. Especially in this cold weather!

Take care ladies and I hope everyone has a great weekend!

HOU -- she wasn't "mean". I shouldn't have used that word. She more or less gave me the evil eye then proceeded to ask me what I had been eating, if I was exercising, etc. I only gained one pound from the last 2 weeks at my last visit, and she was happy with that. I almost felt like asking her what I'm "supposed" to be gaining, but she didn't say anything. I always feel so rushed with her. She gives me time to ask questions, but I'm in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. I'm up 20 pounds and I'm 33 weeks, which I think is pretty darn good. I'm not letting it get to me anymore. Where did you get your 3D done?

Lynnie -- looking good! You are still so small! I bet everyone always asks you if you're sure there's a baby in there!

Cupcake -- you look great! Have you thought of how you will introduce your dog to your baby? At my Baby 101 class this week, this couple has 3 dogs, and they've started walking around with a fake baby a bunch, and putting it on the floor and on the couch next to them. Sounds like a good idea I guess!

I have my last shower tomorrow!!! Woo hoo!!! Happy Friday everyone! Too busy at work to type more!!!
