How accurate are those due date calculators? According to the calculation (last period 1/29 and average of 23-day cycles) our baby will be a Halloween baby!...Trick or Treat!!

All of the calculators I have looked at where I only put in my LMP said 7/13 and that is the date that my doctor used as well. However, when I use my cycle information (I was averaging 21 days) it says 7/6.

Mandarine- Have fun at your appt tomorrow! For my first appt (the only one I''v had so far), all they did was take down family history, get blood & pee samples, and make sure I was on prenatals. They also gave me a free ''What to Expect When You''re Expecting'' book. I didn''t even meet with the doc, but one of the RN''s. I''m really looking forward to my first appt with the doc, which is March 10. I hope it''s a bit more exciting. Looking forward to hearing about your appt. Hope all goes well, I''m sure it will

Hi everyone else!! Those who have posted pics, you look wonderful! Sorry not to do individual shout outs but I''m not up for posting much these days. I''ve had a cold for over a week and it''s not so fun.

All is well with me besides that but I can''t believe I''m next (of those who seem to post relatively regularly)!!! The baby is still breech but last week my fluids were down and my OB said she may try to manually move her this week or next if possible so we''ll see. I have another u/s at the high risk place (where they did the 4-d u/s a few weeks ago) so I''m looking forward to seeing her again.

This weekend I was in San Diego for a bachelorette/bridal shower weekend for one of my best friends and had a good time despite the cold and the pregnancy. I''m pretty uncomfortably big these days and I get BH contractions all the time which are sometimes painful but I''m still able to sleep (which is more than I can say for DH since my snoring have been CRAZY loud!).

Anyway, I hope you''re all well!!!! and congrats to Dreamer again!!

Guys, my boobs hurt! I barely fill out an A cup, especially after I lost 20 pounds 2 years ago. Now they are filling out my bras (still nothing to brag about . . . filling out a 30 or 32A!) and my nipples are sore. I guess it makes sense that my little gals would need to kick it into gear to make up for their petiteness.

(your birth story sounds, from what you told, SO much like mine--water broke on toilet, no real labor, induced at 1 cm, violent contractions, 2 moitors and an IV, less than 30 mins of pushing, 8 1/2 lb boy with the middle name Anthony! Weird! )

OMG, Dreamer! I was hoping that that''s why you disappeared over the weekend! Hunter is so handsome and those pictures just look so peaceful. I''ve heard that Friday night is just about the worst time to go into labor, since you''re usually coming off of a long week and haven''t even gotten a chance to catch up on sleep yet, and combined with the induction - wow! That must have been tough. Even if it''s not what you planned, you did great.

Mandarine - sorry about the grumpy nurse - yikes! I feel like most of the obs/mws here have just trusted home tests, so it especially rude of her to act like that. Are the due date calculators you''re looking at going off of last menstral period? You ovulated early, so you should probably adjust your LMP to be 14 days before the date that you probably ovulated. That will make the due date calculator accurate, but it won''t tell you precisely when the baby will arrive!

Wanted to stick in an update in btwn the congrats....
Had an u/s today..babies good...boy is approx 2lb and girl is 2.4. ....I actually thought they didn''t gain enough..3wks ago they were 1.7 but I duno how much or how fast they are supposed to gain...otherwise boy is head down and girl is transverse....next appr is thurs (dreaded fetal echo)

Robbie- thanks for the info im just sooo bad at diets esp since im on bedrest (really hard to do)....I just can''t believe there is no medication for pre e!

Neat- I duno how closely I should be monitored...I see doc every 2 wks...should I ask for 1x a week ...just don''t know what to do but I get that there''s really nothing to stop it
