Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

NYC, hope all is going well!

Mela, that bag is really nice! I''m seriously starting to consider it, although I really like the one I registered for too...hmmm...Can I ask, does it have straps to attach it to a stroller easily?

Peony, I think those are the jeans that I have from ON! I ordered them in the same size I would have ordered pre-preg, and they definitely still fit well. That is actually the style of band that I''m liking them most as the full belly panel usually irritates the skin of my upper belly. I''ve been getting most of my clothes from ON and I got a TON from ebay.

Pandora, glad to see you back and hear that Daisy is still doing well! Are you more excited or nervous at this point about how close you''re getting?

Fiery, definitely blame the baby brain.

Hmm...wonder why we haven''t heard from Courtney today. I''m all excited to hear how things go for her at her apt. tomorrow!

Not much is new with me other than that I am STILL really craving salty stuff. I went from Combos to Chex mix to bbq potato chips. I seriously ate a bag of chex mix in 2 days...

Sabes - it comes with that long strap that you can hook to each side of the bag - and then throw over the stroller handle. Or you could wear the long strap across your body.
Do you know what I mean?

The only "downside" to this is that you cannot return it. With babysteals - "a steals a deal". lol.

These bags retail for $118 online, so it''s a pretty good saving. I dunno. Bags/purses are so personal. I can only vouch for the fact that *I* like it.

Peony, I have those jeans too! The only thing that bothers me about them is that the jean part just under the stretchy band is tight. I actually bought them a size bigger than most of my other Old Navy maternity stuff, but that''s just because this specific pair fit me differently. I definitely still wear them frequently, but I can''t wear them to birthing class anymore. I can''t squat in them or do some of the exercises she has us do because that one part is too tight.

And we''re back!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything looks great!!!

The babes are getting so big!! Heart rates are strong and they were moving around like crazy!

This U/S tech was awesome and took her time, so we got to see them for a long time!.

My regular Dr was on vacation so I had to see a different one that I wasn''t crazy about...oh well. She basically was looking at me weird because I had told her I had decided to not run anymore and stick to lower impact exercise (still working out but just switching to different things). She was like "why??"....I told her about trying to keep the heart rate under 150 while running and how stressful it was when I tried it, she said I didn''t have to stay under 150, that basically that was non-sense!
38.gif
. I like my Dr much better so hopefully she can stop taking vacation and see me!

Anyway, overall it was good!. They want to do ultrasounds every two weeks until Week 24 to measure cervical length, etc. I''m not complaining!

Mandarine, I can''t believe how big your babies are already! How many weeks are you, again? Did you post a recent belly shot? I''m just wondering how you look now with those two beautiful babies inside you! Great pics.

Courtney, you have such a beautiful belly! If I could ask - did you use anything to prevent stretch marks from coming?

Greetings ladies!

I just wanted to inform you that nycbkgirl's twins were born today at 2:41pm!!
woohoo.gif

Jaqueline Rochelle 4lbs 1oz
Jonathan 3lbs 15oz

They are in the NICU, but are doing well, and breathing on their own.

CONGRATS NYC!!!! Can't wait to see pictures of the adorable little beans. I am sure they will be out of the NICU in no time at all!

Mandarine Baby A is the one closest to your cervix. So technically it could change over time...but once they are implanted well usually it'll stay the same. For the really early u/s I don't know if there is a rule as to how they label them...

Baby A's are almost always born first as a result unless something really wonky happens.

Congratulations, nyc!

Mandarine- Look at how big those beans are getting! So cute.

Wow, that was fast! Congrats NYC!!!!!!

I am guessing she went for her u/s and they saw something that warranted getting them out fast so they did a c-section. My doc told me to always be prepared for that at an u/s with a twin pregnancy! But that''s why they monitor so closely.

Thank you for the well wishes, everyone!

NF was correct, she went for the ultrasound, and the boy didn't grow since the last u/s. That compounded with her high bp, her doctor decided that now was a good time to get the babies out.

Oh wow, thanks for the update brooklyngirl!!! Congrats nyc! I knew you''d beat me! I can''t wait to see your twinkies and I''m so glad they''re breathing on their own. I''m so happy for you.

Sha, I''m using Trilastin which is pretty expensive stuff and I''m not sure if it''s helped or not with stretchmarks. I think I have a few, but I''m hoping they''ll go away after baby.

Congrats on your twins! I can''t wait to see pictures...

Courtney--you''re next!

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!

CONGRATS NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous names you chose too - I cannot wait to ''meet'' your little bambini!

I''m so happy that they are doing well and now the stress of pregnancy can officially be behind you

Pandora - meant to say earlier...nice to see you again girlie!
35.gif
Always nice to see my cycle buddy here.

In an unexpected dev''p, while checking out my ever changing nipples, I noticed that they were both ''leaking'' colostrum. I say ''leaking'' because they weren''t dripping or anything, more of a thick, shiny spew. Lotion-y, if I had to describe it. Nuts! Enough that I had a wee wet spot on my bra.

Tomorrow, is 35 weeks, my last day of work, and BELLY PIC FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can''t WAIT!

CONGRATS to nycbkgirl!!! and welcome to the world, Jacqueline and Jonathan! can''t wait to meet them!! hope you are doing well. glad to hear that the babies are doing well!!! YAY

Yeah, that''s what I figured, I was thinking it was fast from appointment to c-sec, by 2:45pm, but I guess when the babies need to get out they come out ASAP. Brooklyn, please give NYC our best wishes for a speedy recovery, and that the twins get to come home soon!

Sha, stretchmarks are mainly linked to your genes, and your weight gain. By weight gain, it''s not so much the total as whether you put it on gradually or in stops and starts. The baby often goes through periods of putting on loads and then not so much for a while. I''ve been amazed not to have them yet as my mother and sister had them badly and I got them at puberty so I definitely have the family genes.

It is worth getting nice stuff to rub in though as your skin can end up really dry, flakey and sore. I use Vaseline Intensive Care Coco Butter Oil most of the time and then occasionally Agent Provocateur''s Ylang-Ylang massage oil which smells gorgeous but doesn''t last all day like the other stuff!

Courtney - If your back is still driving you nuts, can I suggest trying a body-sized tubi-grip. I had my first semi-pain free evening in over 3 months last night (and even managed to make half a chest-of-drawers). I took it off eventually and the pain was back within 5 minutes. I don''t know if you have tubi-grip in the USA - it''s a very tight tube of elasticated fabric that you roll on and double back on itself, normally they''re for wrists, ankles, knees etc

Oh NYC!!! Happy mommy-hood, girl!!! Praying for you and the babies to be good and ready to come home soon!! Beautiful names, too!! Can''t wait to hear your story and see the babies. You baked them well, sweetie!!!

Isn''t it crazy how big they get so fast!?. I''m 11 weeks/1Day. I posted some "belly/bloat" pics last Friday but I''ll post another one later today because I think the bloat may have started to go down and maybe a mini-belly has started to show.

Thank you everyone else for the sweet comments on the pics!!!
