Lysser- Ok, the one about you BF your dog is HYSTERICAL!!!! Before I got preggo, I would always have dreams that I gave birth to a litter of kittens- for years I had that dream!
And I am so so sorry about poor Cricket.
Poor baby. I don''t have any experience with dogs/diabetes, but I know how you feel about your doggies. Hope it is easy for you to manage, and hope Cricket feels better. How does a dog get diabetes anyways? Is it genetic?
Tao- Yes, haven''t had any "good" dreams either.
Can''t imagine how much more paranoid I am going to be about losing the little guy when he gets here. Oy. It was on the news that a new mom in my city shot her 18 month old and herself yesterday. I have been in tears ever since.
Ok, so told DH about my dreams. He was NOT amused.
I guess one dream that I cheated and another that he was gay wasn''t quite what he wanted to talk about over breakfast!
A few other things I meant to say:
Whoever asked about fluids/drinking more water- my doctor told me to drink more fluids, but when I asked further, she said do drink a ton of water, but really that in of itself won''t increase the amniotic fluid. Either it''s just the way it is for me, OR I may be able to increase/stabilize my fluid levels by rest and staying off my feet. That is the only thing that could make a difference. So all of you out there that feel like you''re doing too much, you probably are! Try to take it easy. I know it''s hard.
Also about sisters- my sister (thought not a twin) tends to be a bit prickly when it comes to me about certain things. She is a lovely girl and a wonderful sister, but is the "middle" child and does have typical "what about me" syndrome. When I got married it was tense. Not sure why, I am older and she was happy for me, but doesn''t like it when attention is all on me. She was definitely the most stressful part of my wedding. I was worried about her reaction to the pregnancy, but she surprised me and was so excited for me and started crying. She has been wonderful and supportive the whole time, so you never know, your sisters may surprise you!
